The hotel is perfectly located in the heart of Guanajuato, just steps away from Teatro Juárez, making it incredibly convenient for exploring the city on foot. The interior design is stunning—elegant, authentic, and full of character. Cleanliness was top-notch, and the staff went above and beyond to assist with everything from taxi bookings to spa recommendations. I especially loved the on-site restaurant—the breakfast buffet was delicious, and their bakery selection was a highlight; try the fresh bread, it’s simply amazing. Hotelito "Casa Dionisio"

I can't say enough good things about this charming little hotel! The room was beautifully decorated and surprisingly spacious, with a view that took my breath away—every morning felt like a postcard. The rooftop terrace is a real highlight; we started each day with coffee there, soaking in the peaceful atmosphere. It's perfectly located—just a 5-minute walk to the historic center, making exploring Guanajuato effortless. The only minor downsides were the rough bath towels and the lack of complimentary water bottles in the room, which is common in many Mexican hotels. A helpful tip: contact the hotel upon arrival so someone can meet you—finding the place on your own can be tricky due to its quiet, unmarked entrance. Despite those small details, this stay was exceptional. I’d absolutely return here if I ever come back to Guanajuato!

Hotel Antiguo Vapor Categoría Especial

This hotel truly stands out from the rest. We stayed in a Cardenales room, and it was spacious, spotlessly clean, and thoughtfully designed—every corner felt fresh and well-maintained. The furniture was functional, stylish, and in excellent condition, making the space both comfortable and inviting. Daily Nespresso capsules were provided—rich, smooth, and perfect for starting the day right. The staff went above and beyond with their warm hospitality, always attentive without being intrusive. Location-wise, it’s ideal: we walked to most attractions in the historic center, but what really sets this place apart is the on-site parking. For travelers driving into town, that’s a game-changer. No need to stress about finding a spot or paying for external lots. Everything about this stay felt seamless—from check-in to checkout. I’d return in a heartbeat and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Guanajuato.

Nueve 25 Hotel Boutique

This has easily been the best hotel I've stayed at outside of beach destinations. Nueve 25 Hotel Boutique is small and intimate, with just a few rooms—each one incredibly clean, spacious, and beautifully designed. The high ceilings give a real sense of openness, and the soundproofing is excellent; you won’t hear any noise from the hallway or other guests. Every room comes well-equipped with air conditioning, a wall-mounted TV, a cozy sofa, a coffee table, a vanity mirror, and a hairdryer—everything you need for a comfortable stay. The location can’t be beat: right in the heart of Guanajuato’s historic center, all major attractions are within a 10-minute walk, and there’s no shortage of great restaurants and street food nearby. The rooftop area is a real highlight—perfect for relaxing with drinks or ordering snacks while enjoying views of the city. Staff are friendly and attentive, always ready to help. The only downside? Parking. The hotel mentions having its own private lot, but it’s not clearly marked or easy to access from the main entrance. We ended up using a nearby public parking garage, which costs around 250 MXN per day—fairly pricey, but manageable. Despite that, the overall experience was outstanding. Great value, exceptional ambiance, and a truly memorable stay. Definitely planning to return.

Casa Corazon de Plata Suites

Staying at Casa Corazon de Plata Suites was an absolute delight. Nestled on a hillside just outside Guanajuato’s city center, this charming boutique-style property offers breathtaking views and a peaceful retreat from the bustling streets below. The rooms are spacious, well-appointed, and feel very welcoming—like home away from home. One of the highlights is the rooftop terrace with panoramic views, where they serve a delicious homemade breakfast at no extra cost—fresh, hearty, and full of local flavor. While there’s no elevator and you’ll need to climb several flights of stairs (including a beautiful spiral staircase to reach the roof), it’s totally manageable for anyone without mobility issues. The pool is stunningly designed and perfect for relaxing under the sun, even if the water is a bit chilly. Though there aren’t any shops or restaurants nearby, getting around is easy thanks to reliable ride-hailing services like Uber and taxis. The real win? Easy parking—something that’s often a headache in Guanajuato. The staff went above and beyond with their warm, friendly service, making us feel truly valued. If you’re looking for tranquility, great views, and authentic hospitality, this place is a must-visit.
