Qingdao Badaguan Jingli Villa Hotel

This is my nth visit to Qingdao, and this time I returned to the Badaguan area after many years. After browsing through countless accommodations online, I finally chose this villa hotel—and it was absolutely the right decision. The location is unbeatable, nestled right within the scenic Badaguan district, surrounded by quiet, picturesque streets and lush greenery. Walking to all the major attractions takes just minutes, which made exploring so convenient and enjoyable. The front desk staff were incredibly warm and attentive—always ready to help with any request, big or small. The villa comes with free parking, a real plus for those arriving by car. Breakfast was simple but satisfying, with generous portions and well-balanced nutrition to kickstart the day. Everything about this stay—from the ambiance to the service quality—was top-notch. It’s clear this place offers excellent value for money. I’ll definitely be coming back here on my next trip to Qingdao. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful, authentic experience in a beautiful setting.

The location couldn’t be better—just a short walk from Qingdao Railway Station, making my early morning high-speed train departure stress-free. I arrived late and still got checked in quickly and smoothly thanks to the friendly front desk staff who were attentive and efficient. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with a cozy atmosphere perfect for a good night’s sleep. Breakfast was outstanding—plenty of variety and excellent quality, especially the wontons. Every single one had a full shrimp inside, tender and flavorful. It’s clear they take pride in their food. I’ll definitely be returning for my next business trip. Highly recommend this hotel for travelers looking for convenience, comfort, and genuine hospitality.

Oceanwide Elite Hotel

I couldn’t believe it—I returned to the very same room I stayed in as a kid, 15 years later during a business trip. Walking into that space instantly brought back so many childhood memories. Even though it was off-season, every staff member was incredibly warm and welcoming. Special thanks to Manager Zhang at reception and Ms. Liu from housekeeping—they went above and beyond to help us. The breakfast spread was generous and delicious, making our mornings truly enjoyable. I wish I could have stayed a few extra days just to soak in the nostalgia and comfort. This place has such a special charm—it’s definitely on my list to visit again.

Atour Hotel Qingdao Zhanqiao Ocean View

We arrived on the 1st and were immediately upgraded to a second-floor room upon check-in—such a nice surprise! The room came with a mini-fridge stocked with plenty of drinks, including green tea, coffee, and soda—perfect for staying refreshed. There were two pillow options, so I could choose what worked best for me. The sofa was a great touch, making it easy to relax or work from the room. My favorite part was definitely the dining area, which offered stunning views of the ocean—great for breakfast or a quiet drink. The only minor downside was slightly thin walls—some noise from neighboring rooms could be heard, but honestly, that didn’t take away from the overall experience. Great value, excellent location, and super friendly staff. Would definitely stay again.

Jinhai Hotel

Staying at this long-established foreign-friendly hotel was a real pleasure. The facilities are comprehensive, the staff are attentive and genuinely warm, and the room was beautifully heated—perfect for a chilly day. If anything was missing, they promptly replenished it without hesitation. Special shoutout to Xiao Zhu and Xiao Chen—they were so friendly and professional, making our stay feel personal and comfortable. The location is excellent: just a short walk from the subway, and the view from the window is stunning—right onto the historic church and the lively streets of Zhongshan Road. It’s such a charming spot for photos or simply relaxing with a cup of tea. One small suggestion: could the breakfast include fresh soy milk? The machine used today didn’t work properly, and the resulting brew lacked quality. Otherwise, everything else was top-notch. This place truly delivers great value, and I’ll definitely be returning when I come back to Qingdao.
