Stayed at MEHOOD LESTIE Hotel during New Year's trip and booked a room with a round bed—perfect size for a family of three, very comfortable. I’d recommend asking the front desk specifically for a room with floor-to-ceiling windows since some of the bay windows tend to let in drafts, making it chilly at night. The hotel’s location is excellent—just a short walk from shopping malls and only about 10 minutes by taxi to West Lake. That said, the breakfast area is quite small and gets packed early; we couldn’t find a seat even though we arrived around 8 AM. Food options were average too—nothing special. We ended up eating outside instead, which turned out to be a better choice. Despite that, the overall experience was great. Clean rooms, friendly staff, and good value for money. Definitely worth considering for a family visit to Hangzhou.

This was hands down the best booking of our trip—booked early before prices went up, and the value for money was outstanding. Nestled on San Tai Mountain, the hotel offers a peaceful retreat with fresh air and stunning natural surroundings. The nearest bus stop is at Yu Qian Temple, but we actually preferred walking to Wugui Tan to try the rowboat ride—unfortunately, it was canceled due to weather, but we made up for it by taking a scenic water bus from Guo Zhuang Pier to Hua Gang Guan Yu. The views along the way were absolutely beautiful. After exploring Hua Gang Guan Yu, we returned via the Xiao Lian Qing Feng line from Su Di Pier, which dropped us right at Yu Qian Temple Station—perfect for heading back to the hotel. One small downside: limited food delivery options nearby, but overall, the experience was flawless. This place truly delivers comfort, convenience, and charm.

It comes with a washer and dryer right in the room. Even better, the complimentary toiletries include laundry detergent—such a thoughtful touch! Breakfast is served at a restaurant in the underground food plaza, where you get vouchers to pick your own dishes. There’s a wide variety of options, and everything is delicious. You can enjoy a full meal for under $20—truly great value. I’ll definitely be back!
