I arrived Friday evening and had dinner at a small local restaurant right downstairs—no special selection, just convenience—and was pleasantly surprised by how delicious the food was. My only note is that when we checked in during late November, the air conditioning wasn’t working—we were stuck at 19°C. We assumed it was our mistake at first, but after two cold nights, we finally called the front desk. They explained that heating isn’t turned on until winter officially starts; since November is considered fall here, they don’t activate the heating system yet. They quickly sent over a small electric heater, which made all the difference. It’s a minor inconvenience, but handled well by the team. Overall, this is a fantastic value for the location—super convenient if you're traveling through Hangzhou East Railway Station, and I’d definitely stay again.
