Millennium Hotel Chengdu

For food delivery, unfortunately, you have to go downstairs yourself to pick it up; a robot delivery service would be a nice upgrade. The laundry room only has one dryer, which became a major bottleneck during peak holiday periods—adding another unit would make a big difference. On the hygiene side, there’s room for improvement: no trash bags in any of the bins, making them uncomfortable to use, and there were stubborn stains on the bathroom floor that weren’t visible until I moved the carpet accidentally. Despite these minor issues, the hotel met my expectations. Great location, good value, and I’d definitely choose this place again when visiting Chengdu.

Upon check-in, we were greeted with a handwritten note and a small fruit platter, which added such a personal touch. The next morning, housekeeping went above and beyond by leaving a mouse pad for my friend who’s always working on the go—such a thoughtful gesture! The hotel itself has a modern, elegant vibe with great lighting and stylish design, making it an amazing backdrop for photos no matter the time of day. The atmosphere felt welcoming and upscale without being pretentious. Overall, the experience was outstanding—from the attention to detail to the warm service.
