I booked this hotel last-minute for a business trip mainly because of the affordable rate, and honestly, I was expecting something basic or underwhelming. But it completely exceeded my expectations! The bed is just the right firmness—not too soft that you sink into it, not too hard either. It’s perfectly balanced, and the pillows are great too—neither too fluffy nor too high, providing excellent support. To be honest, I slept better here than in some so-called five-star hotels I’ve stayed at before. The room has a slightly vintage decor style, which gives it a unique charm rather than feeling outdated. Located just steps from Modiesha Metro Station, it’s super convenient to get to Guangzhou Convention and Exhibition Center. There are plenty of dining options nearby, and overall, the value for money is outstanding. I’ll definitely come back if I’m ever in Guangzhou again.

While not huge, the space felt efficient and comfortable for a city stay. The breakfast, prepared by a chef from Sichuan, was surprisingly delicious and authentic—definitely a highlight. I also appreciated being able to store my luggage after check-out, which made my travel plans much more flexible. Free tea and coffee at the front desk are a thoughtful touch, and the staff were consistently friendly and helpful. We booked this hotel because my girlfriend wanted to shop at Ai Yi Fu, and being right next to the mall made it super convenient. The room was clean, comfortable, and staff were friendly and helpful. The location is ideal if your main focus is shopping or staying close to the mall. However, if you're planning to visit places like Beijing Road Pedestrian Street or Chen Clan Ancestral Hall, expect about a 1-hour drive—so it's not ideal for exploring the city center. Airport transfers take around 40 to 60 minutes depending on traffic, which is average. Overall, I’d recommend this hotel if you’re mainly here for shopping or want a quiet base near the mall. It’s not perfect for tourists wanting to be in the heart of the action, but for what it offers, it delivers solid value.
