We loved using the complimentary fitness center and the kids’ play area—perfect for families. Bonus perks like free parking and late check-out made our experience even smoother. Dining was another high point—the Jue Wei Restaurant served beautifully crafted Chinese dishes, while Yue West Restaurant offered a diverse buffet with both Eastern and Western flavors. Whether traveling for business, family fun, or a weekend getaway with friends, this hotel hits all the right notes. I’ll definitely be coming back next time I visit Xi'an.

Our stay at Somerset Xindicheng Xi'an was absolutely outstanding from start to finish. The moment we arrived, staff greeted us warmly and even helped carry our luggage—so welcoming! The front desk team went above and beyond by gifting our elderly parents a pair of herbal massage mallets, which they loved so much they asked for another the next day. When one of our parents wasn’t feeling well, the team kindly allowed us to take breakfast back to the room—such thoughtful flexibility. Housekeeping staff always smiled and said hello, making us feel truly at home. The pool is exceptional—crystal-clear water with perfect temperature, far better than many other hotels we’ve stayed in. It’s definitely a must-visit spot. The fitness center is top-notch, equipped with modern machines, plus there’s a sauna, table tennis, and even snooker—a fantastic bonus for relaxation and fun. We traveled with our parents in their 80s, and the staff were incredibly attentive and considerate throughout. The option to request an extra bed made the space even more comfortable for family travel. Our room was spacious and fully equipped with kitchenware and a washing machine—perfect for longer stays. We’ve stayed here before and this visit only confirmed why we keep coming back. The front desk staff and housekeeping team were incredibly friendly and attentive, making the stay feel warm and welcoming. As a long-standing five-star property, the facilities are top-notch and well-maintained. Location-wise, it’s absolutely perfect—just steps from the old town, with easy access to the ancient city wall and the bustling Muslim Quarter. Walking to local street food spots is a breeze, and the metro station right outside means commuting to work is fast and hassle-free without needing a taxi. I especially loved the ground-floor coffee—it’s way better than any takeaway I’ve had lately. There’s also a great selection of authentic local eats nearby, giving the area a real local vibe. If I ever bring my family on a trip to Xi’an, this will be my first choice again. Highly recommend for both business and leisure travelers.

Just a 2-minute walk to the Tang Paradise Night Market, where vibrant lights and lively energy greet you outside, while inside, it's all calm and serenity — a peaceful courtyard with red walls, bamboo groves, and authentic Tang Dynasty-inspired design. The rooftop terrace offers breathtaking views of the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, perfect for sunset moments. My room was uniquely designed, incredibly comfortable with soft bedding, and the little touches like complimentary Shaanxi tea and fresh seasonal fruit made me feel genuinely cared for. The 24-hour concierge service was responsive and helpful anytime I needed anything. Breakfast featured delicious local Shaanxi snacks, and even late-night bites were thoughtfully provided. It’s rare to find such a high level of comfort, authenticity, and value in one place. This solo trip gave me the perfect balance of culture, relaxation, and discovery.
