Despite being in a bustling part of the city, the rooms were surprisingly quiet, thanks to good soundproofing. The hotel itself feels modern and clean, with fresh amenities throughout. Staff were friendly and helpful, making the whole experience smooth. Plus, the included breakfast was delicious and varied—great way to start the day. Chengdu Tianfu Plaza Haoiar Hotel

This was my first stay at Chengdu Tianfu Plaza Haoiar Hotel, and it completely changed my perception of the city for the better. After checking several options, I chose this hotel mainly because of its unbeatable location: the metro entrance is right at the building’s doorstep, making it super easy to reach places like People's Park and the local museum. Breakfast was outstanding — abundant, fresh, and included handmade wontons and authentic bean curd pudding. The bathroom was well-maintained with perfect water temperature and strong shower pressure. But honestly, what stood out most was the bed — incredibly comfortable, with plush pillows that made for a restful night’s sleep. I actually considered buying the same set! Plus, the room had zero unpleasant odors upon entry — just clean, fresh air. Overall, an exceptional experience with great value and attention to detail. Staying at CD YUENCHI was an absolute delight. The suite design is truly unique—two bathrooms allow for privacy while still sharing the living space, perfect for relaxing together with a cup of tea. The hallway just outside the door is stunning, with traditional Sichuan embroidery cushions paired beautifully with Ming-style furniture, instantly creating a timeless, immersive atmosphere. Staff were exceptional—front desk team members Xiao Fu and Qin Qin were warm, attentive, and professional, and the restaurant staff were equally friendly and helpful. Every interaction felt personal and genuine. This place offers such a special blend of elegance, comfort, and cultural charm. I’d definitely come back to this hotel on my next trip to Chengdu.

The overhead showerhead seemed to need descaling, but again, it didn’t detract from the stay. Breakfast offerings were solid, though the pastries leaned on the sweeter side, and the freshly squeezed juice wasn’t prepared in front of guests—leading me to wonder if it was truly fresh or pre-made (it did show slight separation). I also missed seeing small wontons on the menu, but these minor points don’t overshadow the bigger picture. The ambiance, service, and attention to detail are top-notch.
