I was genuinely surprised by how great this place turned out to be. I booked it last minute during a business trip, and honestly, with the price so low, I expected nothing special. But wow — the room exceeded my expectations in every way. It was spotlessly clean, the air conditioning (a Daikin unit) worked like a dream, and the shower pressure was outstanding — way better than many higher-end hotels I've stayed at. The amenities were thoughtful too: shampoo, body wash, conditioner, and even hand sanitizer were all provided. Location-wise, it's incredibly convenient — literally steps away from the subway station, making it easy to get around Shanghai. For the price, this is an absolute steal. Highly recommend staying here if you're in the area.

Holiday Inn Express Shanghai Zhenping

The room was as clean and well-maintained as always—exactly what you'd expect from a trusted brand. The front desk staff were warm and welcoming, making check-in a breeze. Breakfast offered a great variety of options, but the real highlight was the complimentary freshly brewed Yunnan coffee available in the lobby—absolute heaven for anyone who needs their caffeine fix! It's also super convenient for travel: just a quick walk to the metro station, and only about 10 minutes by taxi to Shanghai Railway Station. Excellent location, great service, and fantastic value. I’ll definitely be back.
