Step outside and you're face-to-face with the iconic Bell Tower—perfect for photos and soaking in the historic vibe. The staff, from security to front desk and laundry team, were all friendly, professional, and attentive without being overbearing. Breakfast was fantastic—daily rotating menu with fresh, diverse options that kept us excited every morning. My parents especially loved the afternoon tea service; after a long day of exploring, returning to a cozy corner with a warm drink and light bites was pure bliss. Platinum wan'ao Victory Hotel

Our 8-day self-drive trip across Shaanxi ended with a stay at Platinum Wan'ao Victory Hotel in Xi'an, and overall, it was an excellent choice. The location is incredibly convenient—right across from Hepingmen Metro Station, just a 50-meter walk away, making public transit access seamless for exploring the city. The hotel faces the ancient city wall directly, and it’s only about a 1.7-kilometer stroll to Yongning Gate if you want to walk along the wall—a pleasant way to enjoy the historic surroundings. Upon check-in, the front desk proactively upgraded us to a larger room, which made a big difference: spacious enough to comfortably unpack and move around, and ideal for family travel. Cleanliness was spot-on, meeting standard expectations without any issues. One minor drawback is the parking situation—being a multi-level garage, it’s not the most user-friendly, especially for larger vehicles, though my compact car navigated it easily. Breakfast was decent but not particularly impressive by luxury hotel standards—nothing overly elaborate, and we didn’t receive a third breakfast for our parents, which was slightly disappointing since this was one of only two hotels on the entire trip that didn’t offer it. Still, considering the excellent location, helpful staff, room comfort, and overall value, it’s hard not to give high praise. For travelers prioritizing convenience and a solid base in central Xi’an, this hotel is a strong recommendation.

Just a 2-minute walk to the Tang Paradise Night Market, where vibrant lights and lively energy greet you outside, while inside, it's all calm and serenity — a peaceful courtyard with red walls, bamboo groves, and authentic Tang Dynasty-inspired design. The rooftop terrace offers breathtaking views of the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, perfect for sunset moments. My room was uniquely designed, incredibly comfortable with soft bedding, and the little touches like complimentary Shaanxi tea and fresh seasonal fruit made me feel genuinely cared for. The 24-hour concierge service was responsive and helpful anytime I needed anything. Breakfast featured delicious local Shaanxi snacks, and even late-night bites were thoughtfully provided. It’s rare to find such a high level of comfort, authenticity, and value in one place. This solo trip gave me the perfect balance of culture, relaxation, and discovery. She personally helped move our luggage to the new room—so kind and considerate, especially after a long day exploring attractions. The location couldn’t be better: just steps from the bustling main street of Tang Paradise, with the Giant Wild Goose Pagoda, Ba Bai Li Qin Cuisine, Wu Huang Feast, and Xi’an Concert Hall all within walking distance. Breakfast was delicious and abundant, offering great variety and quality. We stayed for three days during New Year’s holiday, and every moment felt relaxed and enjoyable. This hotel offers incredible value and comfort—definitely planning to return soon!

The staff were incredibly attentive: someone guided me to park, and others helped with luggage without being asked. Breakfast was generous and delicious, with great variety. Just steps away is Xincheng Square—perfect for a morning stroll among the friendly pigeons. In about 15 minutes on foot, you can reach Muslim Quarter (Beiyuanmen) and even walk straight to Bell Tower. There’s also a small museum inside the Sofitel Legend building that shares the rich history of the original Renmin Building, including photos of famous visitors over the years. It’s like staying in a living piece of history. With its unbeatable location, warm hospitality, and unique heritage vibe, this hotel offers amazing value. The room itself lived up to the high standard I’d experienced before: clean, well-maintained, comfortable bedding, and all amenities in perfect working order. The location is fantastic—just steps away from Yongning Gate and Nanshaomen Metro Station, making it super convenient for exploring the city.
