Staying at this guesthouse was an absolute highlight of my trip! The staff went above and beyond—friendly, helpful, and genuinely warm. They arranged a private tour with a Japanese-speaking guide for just $5 extra, which made exploring so much more enjoyable. Breakfast offered authentic Egyptian flavors, a nice touch to start the day right. The room itself was clean and well-maintained, and the rooftop view of the pyramids is unbeatable—especially during sunset when the sky turns golden. A few small things to note: the shower pressure is a bit weak, and the curtain doesn’t fully seal the space, so it’s easy to get wet if you’re not careful. Also, toilet paper doesn’t flush (common in many local places). But none of these issues detracted from the overall experience. What truly sets this place apart is the amazing team—attentive, kind, and always ready to help. If you're looking for a cozy, authentic stay with stunning views and exceptional hospitality, this is definitely the spot.
This hotel is absolutely fantastic! The atmosphere is peaceful and inviting, with spotless rooms that make you feel right at home. The staff are incredibly warm and welcoming—always smiling and ready to help. Breakfast was a highlight: fresh, delicious, and full of local flavors. I loved starting my day with a hearty meal before heading straight to the pyramids, just a short walk away. After exploring the ancient wonders, I could return, relax with a refreshing shower, and check out comfortably. The front desk team was especially charming—the lady behind the counter had such a sweet smile that made the whole experience even more memorable. Location, comfort, service, and value all score perfect 10. I’d stay here again in a heartbeat.
Staying at Celia Pyramids View Inn for two nights was a highlight of my trip to Giza. The room was spotlessly clean—typical of Egyptian hotels, no toothbrush or toothpaste provided, so I’d recommend bringing your own essentials. There’s a mini-fridge in the room, perfect for chilling drinks, and complimentary coffee and tea options are available. Breakfast was excellent—far more generous and varied than the famous 'Number 9 Restaurant' near the pyramids, which charges around 700 EGP per person (roughly $100 CNY) and doesn’t even match the quality here. The airport pickup service was a game-changer, especially since we had to go through a lengthy landing visa process—queueing nearly two hours due to delays. Our driver waited patiently, but we couldn’t message via WhatsApp because our mobile plan didn’t support it. We eventually called to explain, and though it took time, the team was understanding. For future travelers, I strongly suggest getting an e-visa in advance—landing visas are slow and stressful. Also, be prepared: Egyptian elevators have no doors and are quite small; first-timers might feel uneasy. But the staff handles it well—they’ll send someone down to meet you at the elevator, standing right by the door for added comfort. Room types vary—standard rooms are comfortable and affordable, while pyramid-view rooms come with a premium price tag, depending on your budget. Overall, this place offers great value, friendly service, and a peaceful stay close to the pyramids. Highly recommended!
The Master Pyramids Hotel offers a surprisingly good experience for the price. While Cairo hotels can be pricey, this one delivers solid value with friendly and attentive staff. What truly stood out was the breakfast—authentic local flavors served on the rooftop with panoramic views of the Great Pyramid of Giza. Eating there at sunrise was an unforgettable moment, blending culture, comfort, and stunning scenery. The location is convenient, just a short ride from major attractions, and easy to reach by public transit. It’s perfect for travelers who want an authentic Egyptian touch without breaking the bank. Definitely a top pick if you're visiting Giza.
Staying at Giza Pyramids Inn was an absolute highlight of my trip to Egypt. The hotel is literally steps away from the pyramids and Sphinx, and the rooftop bar offers breathtaking views—perfect for sunset drinks with the iconic landmarks in the background. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, offering genuine recommendations for local restaurants that we wouldn’t have found on our own. Plus, the price is surprisingly affordable for such a prime location. If you're looking for comfort, convenience, and unforgettable views without breaking the bank, this place is a must-book. I’d stay here again in a heartbeat.
Staying in the new wing was an absolute delight—the hotel’s interior is so well-maintained and modern, feeling surprisingly familiar compared to what you’d find back home. The facilities are top-notch, clean, and thoughtfully designed, making it a comfortable retreat even amidst the vibrant energy of Cairo. Outside, it’s still Egypt—rich with culture and charm—but stepping inside feels like entering a different world altogether. There are plenty of dining options, plus entertainment on-site, and I was really impressed that there’s a currency exchange desk right on the first floor—super convenient for travelers. We booked a Nile-view room, and every morning and evening were made special by the stunning views: watching the sunrise paint the sky or enjoying the city lights reflecting on the river was pure magic. The location is excellent too—easy access to major attractions. Honestly, this place offers incredible value and comfort. I’ll definitely be booking here again on my next trip to Cairo.
Celebrating my daughter’s 30th birthday at this hotel was an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make it special—upgraded our suite without hesitation, offered complimentary late check-out, and truly made us feel like VIPs. The food across all dining areas was exceptional, with cocktails that were perfectly balanced and a stunning birthday cake that stole the show. The Nile River dinner with the Petit Chef experience was absolutely magical—the meal was delicious, generously portioned, and the ambiance was unforgettable. The hotel manager personally welcomed us with a drink before transferring us to the boat and arranged a private car for our ride back. Every detail was thoughtfully handled. This place isn’t just luxurious—it feels personal, warm, and genuinely attentive. If you’re looking for a memorable celebration or a dream getaway, this is the perfect spot. I’ll definitely be returning.
Arrived early with a morning flight and wasn’t sure if we’d get in, but the front desk surprised us by offering two rooms right at 8 AM—definitely an unexpected bonus. The hotel has some age on it, but maintenance is solid, and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. Need more bottled water? Just call the front desk and they’ll deliver it promptly. Breakfast was excellent—plenty of options and tasty. If you’re into photos, head to the best spots early, as they fill up fast. I also booked a sunrise tour to the Great Pyramid through the concierge, which was super easy and well-organized. Everything ran smoothly, and the whole experience exceeded expectations. Highly recommend this place for its charm, convenience, and value.
Staying at Safir Hotel Cairo was a truly pleasant experience. The front desk staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful—when I needed a tie on short notice, they answered every question with patience and clear details, making the whole process stress-free. The hotel is conveniently located near the city center, with easy access to taxis and public transport. There's even a McDonald's just steps away, so dining options are super convenient. While traffic can be busy during peak hours and sometimes requires a short wait for a ride, overall transportation remains reliable and efficient. With its great location, warm hospitality, and excellent value, this hotel stands out. I’d definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Cairo.
The location is absolutely perfect—just a short walk from the metro and right in the heart of shopping and dining areas. Everything you need for food, fun, and convenience is within easy reach. The lobby is elegant and peaceful, setting a calm tone as soon as you step inside. The front desk staff went above and beyond—they were incredibly friendly, helped with luggage, and checked us in so quickly it felt effortless. Any questions we had were answered patiently and thoroughly, making us feel truly welcome. The room was larger than expected, spotlessly clean with no unpleasant odors. The bedding was super comfortable, and I slept like a baby all night. The bathroom features a smart dry/wet separation, hot water came on instantly, and the toiletries were high quality. The view from the window? Stunning—especially at night when the pyramids are lit up. Breakfast was abundant and delicious, with a great variety of options. Wi-Fi was strong and fast throughout our stay. Overall, this hotel delivers exceptional value for money. We had such a wonderful experience that we’ll definitely be booking here again on our next trip to Cairo.
I was really disappointed with this hotel, especially considering it's marketed as a 5-star property. The food quality was underwhelming— even the burger from the Garden restaurant didn’t live up to expectations. I booked through a platform, and initially they said I could only get two twin beds, which wasn’t ideal. I also arrived late and had to wait over an hour before getting access to my room. The room itself felt outdated and worn out—the sink faucet was loose, and the shower temperature was either scalding hot or freezing cold. To top it off, when checking out, they applied a significantly higher conversion rate for the taxi ride, adding an extra $10 USD to my bill. Overall, the experience didn’t match the price or reputation. Not worth it.
Absolutely exceeded my expectations! I was just looking for a clean, reasonably close hotel to the Pyramids and the Grand Egyptian Museum—nothing fancy. But this place blew me away. We arrived late one evening, starving and exhausted. After reaching out to the hotel, they kindly prepared a warm bowl of noodles specially for us—complete with a photo proof! That simple gesture brought tears to my eyes. Thanks to Manager David, we were treated like family throughout our stay. The room was immaculate, the bedding fresh, and the bathroom spotless with all amenities working perfectly. After exploring downtown Cairo on our first day, we returned to the hotel and realized how peacefully quiet it truly is—so much better than the bustling city noise. It’s rare to find such genuine hospitality and thoughtfulness in a hotel far from home. And the Chinese food? Absolutely outstanding. After a month of European travel, eating authentic Chinese cuisine here for two consecutive days felt like a true luxury—definitely among the best I’ve had across Europe and Africa. If you’re visiting the Pyramids and the Grand Egyptian Museum (and who wouldn’t be?), this hotel should be your top pick. In fact, it’s far more worth it than some other places I’ve stayed at—truly a hidden gem.
