Absolutely loved my stay at Mura Hotel Boutique! The location is perfectโjust a short walk from the beach and downtown, making it super convenient for exploring Cancun. The staff are friendly and speak excellent English, always ready to help with any request. The hotel itself feels brand new, spotlessly clean, and incredibly comfortableโespecially the beds, which were some of the most relaxing Iโve ever slept on. Every detail was thoughtfully done, from the modern design to the quiet, peaceful atmosphere. This place truly delivers on comfort and quality. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a stylish, hassle-free getaway in Cancun.
Staying at Hive Cancun by G Hotels was an absolute delight! The room was spacious and well-designed, with a private balcony offering stunning views of the oceanโperfect for morning coffee or sunset moments. Natural light floods in through the large windows, making the space feel bright and airy. The staff went above and beyond with their friendly, helpful serviceโalways smiling, ready to assist, and genuinely attentive. Even with Cancunโs blazing heat, having a fridge in the room made all the difference; it was great to keep drinks cold and refreshments handy. Location is convenient, close to everything youโd want without being too far from the beach. Itโs rare to find such a perfect blend of comfort, style, and hospitalityโhighly recommend this gem!
Staying at Habitation Potter was a refreshing change from the typical resort-style hotels in Cancun. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making our experience feel personal and warm. I especially appreciated that the location wasnโt in the crowded hotel zoneโinstead, we were tucked into a quiet, safe neighborhood with plenty of local restaurants and cafes nearby. It felt more authentic and gave us a real sense of being in a Mexican community. One minor downside: the Wi-Fi signal was weak in our upstairs room, so we had to rely on our phoneโs hotspot for reliable internet. Also worth notingโthereโs no coffee available on-siteโbut donโt worry! Just a short walk away, we found a cozy little cafรฉ with excellent coffee and great vibes. Overall, this place offers a unique, local flavor with solid value for money. Perfect for travelers who want to step off the beaten path and enjoy a more genuine stay in Cancun.
Staying at this hotel was an absolute delight! The room was spacious, clean, and incredibly comfortable with a cozy hanging chair perfect for relaxing with a book or just enjoying the view. Located just under 50 meters from a shopping center, everything you need is within walking distanceโgreat for grabbing snacks, souvenirs, or dinner. Thereโs also a bus stop right outside the front door, making it super easy to get around town without needing a car. One of the highlights? Waking up to a stunning sunrise from the windowโtruly magical. The location, comfort, and attention to detail make this a top choice for any traveler visiting Cancun. Highly recommended!
Just a quick heads-up for travelers: while the hotel itself is conveniently located, I strongly advise being extra cautious when using the ADO bus terminal in Cancรบn city center. On the afternoon of February 4th, 2023, I was boarding a bus to Chiquila at the crowded terminal when someone stole my purseโcontaining cash and credit cardsโright in front of me during a surge of passengers. I screamed for help, but no staff responded, as if I wasnโt even there. Afterward, they only told me to go report it to the local prosecutorโs office, which I did. These thieves are very organizedโthey watch their targets long before boarding, assess whether youโre traveling alone or with others, and pick the perfect moment to strike, especially during the chaos of boarding. Theyโll push or jostle you right when the crowd is dense. Itโs scary how vulnerable you feel with zero police presence. Please, always keep your valuables secure, avoid carrying large amounts of cash, and stay alertโespecially in high-traffic areas. Your safety comes first.
I had high expectations for this event at Casa La Selva based on the reviews, but the reality was a major disappointment. We booked a dinner gathering expecting a proper taco buffet with various fillings, but instead received just basic tacosโso simple that I couldโve easily brought them myself. There was no staff attention, no table setup, and no service coordination. The scheduled 8 PM start time was completely ignored; we didnโt even receive the food until 10 PM. This kind of unreliable service makes me rethink my booking strategyโIโll now only pay after the event to make sure whatโs promised is actually delivered.
Staying at Hotel Blue Star Cancun was a mixed experience. While the rates are reasonable compared to other options in Cancun, cleanliness left much to be desiredโhair was visible on the floor upon arrival, which wasnโt reassuring. During the day, we asked staff to empty our trash (the room only provides one small bin for all waste, including toilet paper), but they never followed up, forcing us to carry it downstairs ourselves. Breakfast consisted of stale cereal, weak coffee, basic toast, and overripe fruitโnothing exciting. We paid extra for chilaquiles, but they were underseasoned and lacked the expected spice. On the positive side, the hot water worked well, and the counter space was generous. However, the lack of a bathroom fan was frustrating, and thin glass doors and windows made the room very echoeyโyou could clearly hear guests talking next door. The hairdryer was dangerously hot, making it unusable. Overall, while the price point is fair, improvements in hygiene, soundproofing, and amenities would go a long way in raising the overall value.
Our stay at Villa Sofia Hotel Boutique Cancun was absolutely wonderful. Roberto, the property manager and host, was incredibly welcoming, helpful, and provided clear directions and great recommendations for local attractions. We especially loved the nearby Los Abuelos Campastre restaurantโauthentic, delicious traditional food that weโll definitely return for. Right across the road is a Soriana marketplace where we picked up groceries to prepare breakfast in our room, then enjoyed it poolsideโsuch a convenient and relaxing way to start the day. The hotelโs close proximity to bus stations made getting to Playa Delphines (one of the most stunning beaches in the area) and Puerto Juarez (the ferry terminal to Isla Mujeres and Cozumel) super easy. We stayed in the deluxe room with a spacious balconyโcozy, beautifully decorated, and spotlessly clean. The bed was extremely comfortable, making for restful nights. The only minor drawback was the noise from the nearby amusement park, with screams from roller coaster rides echoing late into the night. This made it hard to sleep with windows open, but the air conditioning kept the room quiet and cool when closedโso it wasnโt a major issue unless youโre very sensitive to sound. Overall, the experience was outstanding. From the warm hospitality to the thoughtful amenities and unbeatable location, this place truly stands out. Highly recommended for travelers seeking comfort, convenience, and a touch of authentic Mexican charm.
The host greeted us warmly upon arrival and made sure everything was exactly to our liking. What stood out most was their genuine careโduring our stay, they reached out to check if we needed anything or had any concerns, which truly made a difference. When it came time to check out, the security deposit was refunded immediately, no hassle at all. The apartment itself is spacious, well-equipped, and located in a convenient spot close to restaurants, shops, and attractions. We loved the personal touch and attention to detail that made our stay feel special. If you're looking for a comfortable, reliable, and welcoming place to stay in Cancun, this is definitely a top choice. Iโd recommend it without hesitation.
The stay was absolutely wonderfulโI ended up extending my booking by one extra night because I didnโt want to leave! Everything about the hotel was top-notch, from the clean and quiet rooms to the exceptional hospitality. The owners were incredibly friendly and welcoming, even offering a laundry serviceโsuch a thoughtful touch. Despite being located right next to a busy street, the room remained peaceful and well-insulated. Daily cleaning was done with care, and two bottles of water were always left for me each day. Itโs rare to find such attention to detail and genuine warmth in a place like this. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Cancunโthis is more than just a hotel, itโs a home away from home.
The overall experience was excellentโespecially the high-tech access system that lets you enter with just your phone, which is super convenient and modern. That said, Iโd recommend adding a security guard at the entrance for added peace of mind, even though the area is generally safe. The buildingโs entrance could use better lighting, as itโs quite dim and makes the approach feel a bit eerie at night. Despite that small concern, the hotel offers great value, great location, and a really smooth stay. Definitely coming back.
Studiotel Cancรบn was an absolute delight from start to finish. The staff were incredibly warm, welcoming, and genuinely willing to accommodate our needsโno hesitation at all when we had special requests. It felt personal and thoughtful. The room matched exactly what was shown online, which is rare these days, so no surprises upon arrival. The property feels recently renovatedโclean, modern, and well-maintained, making the whole experience feel fresh and comfortable. Any minor issues were addressed quickly and efficiently, showing great responsiveness. The only small downside? The exterior signage isnโt very clear, but itโs still easy to find once youโre close. Itโs a bit far from downtown, so taxis can add up, but its proximity to the airport makes it perfect for early departures or late-night arrivals. If you value convenience, comfort, and friendly service, this hotel delivers. Highly recommended for travelers looking for a reliable, hassle-free stay in Cancรบn.
