Staying at Mitsis la Vita was an absolutely wonderful experience. The hotel's direct access to the beach is a major plus—especially since there’s a dedicated section just for guests, making it easy and enjoyable to relax by the sea. There are plenty of dining and shopping options nearby, which made our stay even more convenient. We were especially happy with how well the location worked for our 9-year-old son—he had a great time exploring and playing. The only downside? One of the two elevators wasn’t working, and the other struggled to reach the 6th floor where we were staying. That meant walking up several flights every day, which got a bit tiring over time. Also surprising: construction was ongoing right next to the hotel during summer, and we could still hear noise from the site—even on Sundays. It’s a shame, but overall, the hotel offers excellent value, great service, and a fantastic beachfront setting. Definitely worth considering if you're looking for a relaxed, seaside getaway.

One minor note: the evening live entertainment had some loud music that could be heard from the room, but once the windows were closed, the soundproofing worked really well—no disturbance at all. Maybe we misunderstood and it was supposed to be a deposit, but if so, that should’ve been clearly communicated upon check-in. Also, they asked for a credit card at check-in—possibly as a security measure in case something goes missing. We used a debit card instead, which worked fine, but the whole process left a slightly negative impression. Overall, the hotel offers great value and a wonderful atmosphere, but these little inconsistencies leave us wondering whether we’ll return. It’s not a deal-breaker, but definitely something worth reconsidering.
