I was genuinely impressed—this hotel exceeded my expectations compared to what I’d read online. Walking from Windsor Station took about 30 minutes, mostly a gentle downhill slope, which made the journey enjoyable. Just a 10-minute stroll brings you right to St Kilda Pier and the beachfront, with stunning ocean views. There’s a Woolworths nearby for quick grocery runs—super convenient. Check-in requires a $1 AUD hold on your credit card, but it’s fully refunded if there are no extra charges upon checkout. The room was spacious and spotless, with large windows that open for fresh air. All essentials were included: kettle, mini-fridge, hairdryer, air conditioning, plus complimentary tea, coffee, and milk in single-serve packs. Free Wi-Fi was fast and reliable. Everything felt thoughtfully designed for comfort and convenience. With excellent value, friendly staff, and a prime seaside location, this is definitely a place I’d stay again.
Staying at Crest on Barkly Hotel was an absolute delight! The location is perfect—just a short walk from the train station, making it super easy to get around Melbourne. I loved how close it was to major attractions like the university and the cathedral. The hotel’s modern design and clean, spacious rooms made me feel right at home. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I slept like a baby. What stood out most was the excellent value for money—great location, top-notch service, and plenty of nearby dining options. From cozy cafes to lively restaurants, there's something for every taste. Overall, this was my favorite stay in Melbourne so far, and I’d definitely book here again.
The Crest on Park apartments were spotless and well-maintained, with a clean, tidy feel throughout. The room was spacious and thoughtfully designed—really comfortable for our stay. Check-in was a bit tricky, but we understand it might have been a system hiccup rather than staff issue. Location is excellent—just a short walk to cafes, restaurants, and shopping spots. We easily caught the tram into the city center. Despite the minor check-in hassle, the overall experience was fantastic. Highly recommend this property for travelers looking for comfort, convenience, and great value.
I stayed here right before my exams, and it was the perfect spot to relax and recharge. The hotel has a classic old-world exterior, but the interior is surprisingly well-maintained and cozy. The air conditioning worked instantly—just turned it on and the room warmed up in seconds, which was a lifesaver during Melbourne’s chilly weather. What stood out most was the great value for money. For the price, the comfort, cleanliness, and location were all excellent. It’s not just a place to sleep—it felt like a quiet retreat when I needed it most. Definitely coming back if I’m ever in Melbourne again.
Staying at SoYa on Davis Apartment Hotel in Melbourne was an absolute delight. The apartment was incredibly well-equipped—kitchen essentials, laundry facilities, and everything you’d need for a comfortable self-catering stay. Cleanliness was top-notch; even the smallest corners felt freshly sanitized, which made me feel safe and relaxed. Location-wise, it’s unbeatable—just a short walk to the tram line, with shopping centers, cafes, and supermarkets all within easy reach. The staff were direct but genuinely helpful, responding quickly to any inquiries without unnecessary fluff. Their no-nonsense attitude actually added to the authenticity of the experience. It’s rare to find such a perfect balance between convenience, cleanliness, and value. I’d highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Melbourne—especially if you’re looking for a home-away-from-home vibe with a great urban pulse.
Staying at this property was an absolute delight. The location is unbeatable—just a short walk from the metro station, with a great restaurant right on the ground floor and a convenient supermarket nearby. Everything I needed for daily essentials was within reach without having to go far. Whether it was exploring Melbourne’s city center, shopping, or catching a show, everything was so easily accessible. The room itself was clean, stylish, and well-appointed—modern decor with thoughtful touches. It felt like home but with that extra touch of luxury. The value for money is outstanding, and I’d definitely book here again without hesitation.
St Kilda Central Apartments exceeded my expectations—truly a fantastic place to stay! Located in building B, it's incredibly convenient with a supermarket right on the ground floor, making daily essentials super easy to grab. Despite being in a lively area, the apartment itself is quiet, bright, and well-lit with excellent natural sunlight. The safety and security are top-notch, giving me peace of mind throughout my stay. I felt completely at home and appreciated the thoughtful touches that made everything so comfortable. I’d definitely book here again if I return to Melbourne—highly recommend for anyone looking for a great mix of convenience, comfort, and charm.
Staying at Sixty Two on Grey Serviced Apartments was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The location is excellent—just a short walk from the city center and close to public transit, making it super easy to explore Melbourne without needing a car. The apartment itself was clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully furnished with everything you’d need for a comfortable stay, including a fully functional kitchen. I especially appreciated the spacious layout—it felt much bigger than expected for the price. The staff were friendly and helpful, offering local tips and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process. It’s rare to find such a great balance between comfort, convenience, and value. If you're visiting Melbourne and want a cozy, hassle-free base, this place is definitely worth considering. Would absolutely stay here again.
We booked the Insta Hostel | Amazing Accommodations: St Kilda for a group of four adult males attending the Formula 1 Grand Prix at Albert Park. The property delivered exactly what we needed—four single beds in a spacious two-bedroom apartment, and every one of us was impressed by how comfortable the mattresses were. The unit itself was generously sized, with a large living area, a functional kitchen, and well-proportioned bathroom facilities. What stood out most was the location: just a five-minute walk to Gate 10, which made accessing the event incredibly convenient. Public trams stopped right on our corner, and there was a great little café called Square just around the block where we enjoyed breakfast each morning. Further up the street, we also discovered a solid bar and restaurant—perfect for evening relaxation. The accommodation was quiet and peaceful throughout our stay, and we were happy with the value for money. That said, the apartments do show their age—peeling wallpaper, curtains slipping off rails, outdated furniture, and slightly worn bathroom fixtures. While these weren’t deal-breakers, we’d suggest some minor updates. We felt under-supplied with essentials: only four small tubs of milk for four people over four days wasn’t sufficient, and one towel per person per day was simply not enough. Overall, though, this was an excellent choice for a stay in St Kilda. The combination of great location, comfort, and affordability makes it highly recommendable—we’d definitely consider returning.
The property was clean and offered a good level of privacy, which I appreciated. It's also very conveniently located—just a short commute to the city center, making it ideal for exploring Melbourne. The only downside was the noise from neighboring units; the walls lack proper soundproofing, so you can clearly hear doors opening and closing, voices, and even TV sounds from adjacent apartments. This was noticeable, especially at night. Despite that, I still enjoyed my stay overall. The apartment was well-maintained, comfortable, and offered great value for money. If I'm back in Melbourne, I’d definitely consider staying here again.
Staying here was absolutely delightful—perfect for a family getaway. Since my kids attend school nearby, this trip was a great chance to visit and relax together. The location is fantastic: plenty of supermarkets and restaurants within walking distance, so grocery shopping and cooking at home were super convenient. The rooms are spacious, well-appointed, and the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Everything felt clean, quiet, and thoughtfully designed. I especially appreciated how easy it was to get around—just a short walk or quick tram ride into the city center. If you're looking for a peaceful yet central base with family-friendly amenities, this hotel is a top pick. Would definitely come back.
Staying at this hotel was a fantastic experience overall. The location is unbeatable—right across from a large park, perfect for morning walks or relaxing strolls. It’s just a 5 to 10-minute walk to the tram station, making it super convenient to reach the city center without needing to switch lines. Breakfast was consistent every day and consistently high quality—fresh, well-prepared, and satisfying. The room was spacious with two generous queen-sized beds, offering plenty of comfort for couples or families. One minor issue: the faucet is positioned very close to the sink, which made handwashing slightly awkward. Dining options and bars are a bit further away—about a 15-minute walk—but that’s manageable. Overall, the combination of great location, clean and comfortable rooms, and excellent service makes this a top pick. Highly recommend for travelers who value convenience and a peaceful stay.
