It’s just a 5 to 10-minute walk to the tram station, making it super convenient to reach the city center without needing to switch lines. Breakfast was consistent every day and consistently high quality—fresh, well-prepared, and satisfying. The room was spacious with two generous queen-sized beds, offering plenty of comfort for couples or families. One minor issue: the faucet is positioned very close to the sink, which made handwashing slightly awkward. Dining options and bars are a bit further away—about a 15-minute walk—but that’s manageable. Overall, the combination of great location, clean and comfortable rooms, and excellent service makes this a top pick. Highly recommend for travelers who value convenience and a peaceful stay.

Check-in requires a $1 AUD hold on your credit card, but it’s fully refunded if there are no extra charges upon checkout. The room was spacious and spotless, with large windows that open for fresh air. All essentials were included: kettle, mini-fridge, hairdryer, air conditioning, plus complimentary tea, coffee, and milk in single-serve packs. Free Wi-Fi was fast and reliable. Everything felt thoughtfully designed for comfort and convenience. With excellent value, friendly staff, and a prime seaside location, this is definitely a place I’d stay again.

This is hands down the best hostel I've ever stayed in Australia. The bathrooms, toilets, and kitchen are spotless—so clean it almost feels like a boutique hotel. The bed is incredibly comfortable, and the room stays quiet at night, making for a deep, restful sleep. They even provide extra blankets if you get chilly—such a thoughtful touch. The staff are friendly, welcoming, and genuinely nice to be around. I arrived early at 8 a.m. and was happily allowed to check in right away. It's just a short walk from South Yarra Station, so getting around Melbourne is super convenient. If I ever return to Melbourne, this will be my first choice. A truly exceptional stay—highly recommend!
