There’s a Luckin Coffee in the lobby, and just steps away from KFC, local noodle shops, and authentic Hunan restaurants—perfect for trying regional flavors. It's also conveniently close to Helong Stadium. From check-in to checkout, we felt safe, comfortable, and genuinely happy. The fitness center and laundry facilities were kept in excellent condition. I was amazed by the robot delivery service—when I requested makeup remover wipes and face masks for my girlfriend, they arrived at the door within minutes. If I ever come back to Hunan, I’ll definitely book here again. One quick note: while Fire Palace is famous, don’t expect the same experience everywhere. We found that the free snacks like tangyuan (sweet rice balls) and stinky tofu were treated differently depending on where you went. At the business dining area, scanning the QR code got us a full serving with six toppings, but at the street food section, it was just three pieces with basic condiments—same brand, totally different treatment. It felt inconsistent, especially since both were free. Honestly, some random roadside stalls had tastier stinky tofu than their version. So if you’re craving local flavors, explore beyond the branded spots—sometimes the real gems are hidden in plain sight.

Line 2 takes you straight to Orange Isle and Yuelu Mountain, while Line 6 offers direct access to the airport—super convenient for travel. Right across from the hotel is the Hunan Provincial Theatre, and downstairs you’ll find Hua Tian Xiao Lu, a local favorite that delivers delicious food. Special thanks to Manager Xiao Yin for the thoughtful recommendations—I tried Tea Yan Yue Se and explored IFS Guojin Center, making the most of the area’s vibrant vibe. The room was spotless, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything I needed. Housekeeping did a great job keeping the space clean and tidy. Staff were warm and proactive—they kindly pointed me to breakfast location and informed me about the complimentary swimming pool and fitness center.
