I couldn’t believe it—I returned to the very same room I stayed in as a kid, 15 years later during a business trip. Walking into that space instantly brought back so many childhood memories. Even though it was off-season, every staff member was incredibly warm and welcoming. Special thanks to Manager Zhang at reception and Ms. Liu from housekeeping—they went above and beyond to help us. The breakfast spread was generous and delicious, making our mornings truly enjoyable. I wish I could have stayed a few extra days just to soak in the nostalgia and comfort. Breakfast was generous and delicious, and dinner options featuring local Shandong cuisine and fresh seafood were both affordable and satisfying. There’s also a tour agency right at the hotel offering small-group day trips to Laoshan Scenic Area—affordable and well-organized, making it easy to explore the region without stress. Every aspect of our trip—from dining and accommodations to transportation and sightseeing—was smooth, efficient, and enjoyable. This stay truly made our first visit to Qingdao unforgettable. This stay was absolutely fantastic! The hotel is spotlessly clean and well-maintained, with a modern, smart-feeling vibe. The room had plenty of power outlets that all worked perfectly—something I always appreciate. The bed was just right—not too soft, not too firm—by far the most comfortable sleep I’ve had in a hotel recently. The underfloor heating is gentle and adjustable, which is great for cooler evenings. There’s a full-length mirror and multiple mirrors throughout, perfect for travelers who need to freshen up or do makeup. The TV being able to cast content from my phone was such a nice touch—so many hotels have TVs that are basically useless. Best of all? You can see the sea right outside your door. Watching sunrise and sunset from the window was magical. It’s also close to beach attractions and super convenient for public transport. The only downside is slightly thin walls—noise from adjacent rooms comes through, but it’s manageable. Ordering food delivery took a bit longer, probably due to peak hours, but still worth it. Overall, this place nailed everything. If I come back to Qingdao, I’d definitely book the sea view room again—perfect for unwinding with a cup of tea while watching the waves.
