This charming hotel sits right in the heart of the city, just steps away from the Li River—our room had an unbeatable riverside view, perfect for morning jogs along the bank. The entire property was beautifully decorated with a festive Christmas vibe that added such warmth to our stay. The room itself was spotless and immaculately clean—hygiene was never a concern. When I went to use the self-service laundry the next day, it was already full. Instead of waiting, the staff member kindly offered me a spot and even took care of the laundry for me. When it was done, my clothes were returned neatly folded and packed—such a thoughtful touch! The service was incredibly prompt and genuinely welcoming. As a food lover, I was thrilled by the dining options: breakfast featured fresh, crisp ice lettuce—my absolute favorite. Lunch and dinner offered creative, locally inspired dishes with excellent flavor and presentation. Every meal felt special. The location is perfect—just 3 bus stops to Elephant Trunk Hill, 1 stop to the Jingjiang Prince's Mansion, and only 6 stops to Guilin North Railway Station. Taxis never cost more than $20, making it super convenient for travelers on a budget. This hotel delivers an excellent balance of comfort, service, and value—definitely a top pick if you're visiting Guilin.

After dinner, we loved strolling along the lakeside path; it’s such a peaceful way to unwind. The breakfast was simple but satisfying—good quality and tasty options. Dinner was equally impressive, with delicious local flavors and well-prepared dishes. Staff were attentive and responsive, making us feel welcome throughout our stay. The room came with a bunk bed featuring a slide, a kid-sized table, a mini tent, a rocking horse, and even a large bathtub—perfect for soaking after a long day of sightseeing. The hallway had a dedicated kids’ play zone, where our little one played non-stop and refused to leave! Breakfast at the 9th-floor restaurant was fantastic—plenty of local favorites like Guilin rice noodles, small wontons, and authentic oil tea, all fresh and delicious. Across the way, there’s also a flagship Snow King store where you can grab exclusive snacks, collectible items, and limited-edition drinks. Plus, right on the ninth floor of the same building is Pu Shi Restaurant—highly recommended for its amazing food and stunning views. No need to wander far; dining and scenery come together seamlessly. Getting around was effortless too—rides arrived almost instantly. Special thanks to Liu Yang, who personally escorted us to our room, answered every question with care, and even gave helpful travel tips. Breakfast was another win—diverse options combining both Western and Chinese flavors, with the local rice noodles being particularly delicious. Room layout was smart and spacious, with huge floor-to-ceiling windows letting in plenty of natural light. Everything was spotless, from linens to cleaning standards—no corners cut.
