Staying at this City 118 Select Hotel was a great experience. The room was spotlessly clean, with disposable paper cups and slippers in sealed packaging—plus a faint, reassuring scent of disinfectant that made me feel safe. It's just a 10-minute walk to the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, which is perfect for exploring on foot, though I’d recommend taking a taxi back since the site is quite large and walking all the way can be tiring. The front desk staff were exceptional—welcoming from the moment we arrived, helping carry our luggage, giving detailed tips on local restaurants, and explaining how to get around the area. Their warmth and hospitality really stood out. Another major plus: the hotel has its own parking lot. For travelers driving in, this is a huge convenience. Nearby street parking charges about $6 per hour, but here it’s free—huge savings and peace of mind. If you're traveling by car, this place is absolutely worth booking. Highly recommended!

Location-wise, it’s unbeatable: right across from the Shaanxi History Museum, just a 10-minute walk to the Big Wild Goose Pagoda and Tang Paradise. Getting to places like Bell Tower, Yongning Gate, and Muslim Quarter is super easy via metro—direct access without transfers. Our room faced the quiet residential area, so no noise disturbances at all. The view from the window included a small garden, and during snowfall, it looked absolutely magical. Everything you’d need in-room was provided, including complimentary samples of toiletries—so thoughtful! This hotel offers incredible value, convenience, and comfort. I stayed at Home Inn (Xi'an Big Wild Goose Pagoda Xiying Road) and was genuinely impressed! The room was spotlessly clean, the bed was just right—soft but supportive, making for a restful night’s sleep. The double room was spacious enough even for three of us, with plenty of room to move around. The Wi-Fi connection was fast and reliable—perfect for gaming, especially when I played Honor of Kings without any lag. My friend and I had a triple room the previous night, and it was just as clean and quiet. The location is ideal: a 7-10 minute walk to the nearest metro station, and super close to major attractions like the Big Wild Goose Pagoda and Muslim Quarter. Quiet neighborhood, great value, and very convenient. I’ll definitely be returning here on my next trip to Xi’an.
