Our stay at Somerset Xindicheng Xi'an was absolutely outstanding from start to finish. The moment we arrived, staff greeted us warmly and even helped carry our luggage—so welcoming! The front desk team went above and beyond by gifting our elderly parents a pair of herbal massage mallets, which they loved so much they asked for another the next day. When one of our parents wasn’t feeling well, the team kindly allowed us to take breakfast back to the room—such thoughtful flexibility. Housekeeping staff always smiled and said hello, making us feel truly at home. The pool is exceptional—crystal-clear water with perfect temperature, far better than many other hotels we’ve stayed in. It’s definitely a must-visit spot. The fitness center is top-notch, equipped with modern machines, plus there’s a sauna, table tennis, and even snooker—a fantastic bonus for relaxation and fun. We traveled with our parents in their 80s, and the staff were incredibly attentive and considerate throughout. They also provided little kid-sized slippers, which my children loved. Room service was prompt, and everything arrived quickly. The breakfast buffet was delicious, but I have to say the fried eggs were absolutely outstanding—perfectly cooked, crispy on the outside, soft inside. The hotel has a free parking lot, which made exploring the city by car super convenient. We were disappointed we couldn’t get tickets to the Shaanxi History Museum—it’s notoriously hard to book—but the front desk staff immediately suggested some great alternative attractions that were perfect for families. Their recommendations were thoughtful and helpful. With its excellent location near the Tang Paradise area, friendly staff, and attention to detail, this hotel offers incredible value. The Wi-Fi connection was fast and reliable—perfect for gaming, especially when I played Honor of Kings without any lag. My friend and I had a triple room the previous night, and it was just as clean and quiet. The location is ideal: a 7-10 minute walk to the nearest metro station, and super close to major attractions like the Big Wild Goose Pagoda and Muslim Quarter.
