I couldn’t believe it—I returned to the very same room I stayed in as a kid, 15 years later during a business trip. Walking into that space instantly brought back so many childhood memories. Even though it was off-season, every staff member was incredibly warm and welcoming. Special thanks to Manager Zhang at reception and Ms. Liu from housekeeping—they went above and beyond to help us. The breakfast spread was generous and delicious, making our mornings truly enjoyable. I wish I could have stayed a few extra days just to soak in the nostalgia and comfort. This place has such a special charm—it’s definitely on my list to visit again.

We arrived on the 1st and were immediately upgraded to a second-floor room upon check-in—such a nice surprise! The room came with a mini-fridge stocked with plenty of drinks, including green tea, coffee, and soda—perfect for staying refreshed. There were two pillow options, so I could choose what worked best for me. The sofa was a great touch, making it easy to relax or work from the room. My favorite part was definitely the dining area, which offered stunning views of the ocean—great for breakfast or a quiet drink. The only minor downside was slightly thin walls—some noise from neighboring rooms could be heard, but honestly, that didn’t take away from the overall experience. Great value, excellent location, and super friendly staff. Would definitely stay again.

Staying at this long-established foreign-friendly hotel was a real pleasure. Special shoutout to Xiao Zhu and Xiao Chen—they were so friendly and professional, making our stay feel personal and comfortable. The location is excellent: just a short walk from the subway, and the view from the window is stunning—right onto the historic church and the lively streets of Zhongshan Road. It’s such a charming spot for photos or simply relaxing with a cup of tea. One small suggestion: could the breakfast include fresh soy milk? The machine used today didn’t work properly, and the resulting brew lacked quality. Otherwise, everything else was top-notch. This place truly delivers great value, and I’ll definitely be returning when I come back to Qingdao.
