I tried the grilled oysters—12 huge ones for just $6.50—and they were fresh, juicy, and absolutely worth it. Across from the hotel, you have Baiyun Mountain; even though we only had time for a quick photo at the base, the view was already peaceful and refreshing. The front desk staff, Eunice, kindly upgraded my room without any hassle, and the floor-to-ceiling windows offered breathtaking views of the Pearl River and the glittering city skyline at night—truly unforgettable. My personal assistant, Sophia, went above and beyond by arranging a lovely birthday cake and a heartfelt welcome card in advance—such a sweet surprise! Chris from room service was incredibly warm and attentive throughout our stay. Amelia made check-in smooth and personalized, showing genuine care and attention to detail. Every touchpoint felt thoughtfully curated, making this stay feel truly special. Without a doubt, this will be my go-to choice whenever I return to Guangzhou, and I’ll definitely recommend it to friends and family.

LN Garden Hotel Guangzhou

We stayed at LN Garden Hotel Guangzhou during the New Year holiday, choosing this long-established five-star hotel for its reputation and family appeal—my parents especially loved it. This year marks the hotel’s 40th anniversary, and the rich history, elegant ambiance, and exceptional service made our visit truly memorable. The location is incredibly convenient—right next to a metro station, which was great even if we didn’t use it daily. The garden area is peaceful and well-maintained, but what really stood out was the complimentary guided tour. At 2 PM, we were led by Mandy, a top-tier guide, who gave a detailed and engaging walkthrough of the facilities, including the fourth-floor museum. My mom was absolutely delighted—it was such a thoughtful addition, and I sincerely hope the hotel keeps this program alive. Service quality was outstanding throughout: warm welcome at check-in, dedicated staff operating elevators on every floor, and even personnel on duty at the lobby after midnight. On my birthday, they surprised us with a beautifully decorated room, a delicious cake (which was seriously one of the best I’ve ever had!), and Zoe personally helped carry my luggage up to the room. When there was a minor air-con issue, they responded immediately—even though it turned out not to be faulty, they still proactively opened the window for fresh air. That kind of care goes beyond expectations. Breakfast options were excellent too: three different venues across the ground floor, the 30th-floor revolving restaurant, and the Yuan Tao Hall. We stayed three nights and managed to try all three. Plus, the platform voucher included afternoon tea and happy hour—such an amazing value-add. Overall, this stay was everything we hoped for and more. Highly recommended.

China Hotel

A true landmark with over four decades of history, this classic five-star hotel has quietly witnessed China's reform and opening-up era. Its location is unbeatable—just steps away from Yuexiu Park, a 200-meter walk to the Nan Yue King Museum, and right across the street from Liuhua Center. The room, while modest in size, features elegant Chinese-style decor and exceptional comfort. I was especially impressed by the breakfast—fresh, diverse, and delicious. The service was outstanding, particularly Emily, who went above and beyond with her warm and attentive hospitality. Even though we only stayed one night, the experience left a lasting impression. For travelers seeking a quiet, authentic stay in Guangzhou with excellent value and charm, this hotel is absolutely worth considering.
