She spent quite some time fiddling with my device, and only later did I realize she’d claimed a new guest welcome coupon for me—no warning, no confirmation. When I checked Huazhu Hui afterward, I found out the breakfast voucher had already been used (and I didn’t even know about it), and my new member discount was gone. Felt a bit taken advantage of. On the bright side, my room was upgraded to a family suite. It’s located right next to the elevator, but the door is narrow—someone slightly larger might struggle to get through. Room amenities are average, and the window area looks worn. The biggest issue? Terrible sound insulation. I couldn’t hear any voices from adjacent rooms or the hallway (which is good—guests were respectful), but the constant hum of the air conditioner and street traffic made sleep nearly impossible. Every time I was drifting off, a loud car engine would blast by, instantly waking me up. I went to bed at 10 PM, but woke up at 8 AM to see only 4 hours of sleep logged—so frustrating. I was ready to leave a negative review… until the next day when I met a completely different front desk staff. This person was warm, attentive, and genuinely helpful. When I asked again about late check-out, they immediately agreed—perfect timing, as it gave me space to grab a meal nearby before heading back. That kind gesture made all the difference. For this excellent service, I’m choosing to give a positive rating. Hope more team members can bring this level of care and professionalism.
