Staying at Xana Hotel near Tiananmen Square and Qianmen Pedestrian Street was an absolute delight. The hotel feels brand new—clean, modern, and thoughtfully designed with a quiet elegance. Check-in was quick and smooth thanks to the friendly and efficient front desk staff, especially Xiao X, who made us feel welcome right away. The room was spacious and bright, with a comfortable bed that made for a restful night’s sleep. The bathroom is well-designed with a clear dry/wet separation, and all toiletries were neatly stocked—no need to bring your own. Location-wise, it’s unbeatable: just a short walk to major landmarks like Tiananmen Square and Qianmen, yet surrounded by peaceful streets. It's perfectly balanced between convenience and tranquility. Every little detail shows care—from the lighting to the minibar selection. For the price, the value is outstanding. I’ll definitely be coming back on my next business trip to Beijing. Highly recommended!

There’s a subtle old-world charm to the place—quiet, elegant, and full of character. Breakfast is just across the street, offering simple but delicious options like congee and steamed buns—fresh, hot, and satisfying. The staff are attentive and friendly, always ready to help with any request. What really stands out is the location: it’s incredibly close to Beijing South Railway Station, making high-speed train travel super convenient. Even if you can’t get a ticket, this hotel is a perfect overnight stopover. It’s not just practical—it feels like a genuine home away from home. Highly recommend for travelers looking for comfort, convenience, and a touch of history.

Guantong Modern Hotel (Beijing Qianmen)

I've stayed at this hotel during my first visit to Beijing ten years ago, and returning now, I'm thrilled to see that the charm and quality remain unchanged. The location is excellent—just a short walk from Qianmen and Tiananmen Square, making it super convenient for exploring the city. The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, always with a smile. Every day, fresh water was kindly delivered to our room, and housekeeping was thorough and attentive. It's rare to find a hotel that maintains such consistent comfort and service over time.
