The entire staff went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable—warm, attentive, and genuinely helpful. The breakfast was exceptional: fresh, well-prepared, and offered a great variety of options. My room, 814, had an amazing view overlooking the city, especially stunning at sunrise. The location is perfect for exploring Medellín—just a short ride to the downtown area and close to the stadium. It’s rare to find such a high level of comfort, service, and value all in one place. I’d definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Medellín.
Staying at Hotel Laureles Plaza was an absolutely delightful experience! The warmth and hospitality from the staff made us feel right at home. They went above and beyond by helping us arrange transportation and local tours, and offered thoughtful recommendations on what to do in Medellín. Their friendly and attentive service truly stood out. The location is excellent—just a short walk from public transit and downtown attractions. It’s clear they care about guest comfort and enjoyment. Highly recommend this gem for anyone visiting Medellín!
I absolutely loved my stay at Hotel Express Medellin Farum! The service was excellent from the moment I arrived—friendly, prompt, and genuinely welcoming. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and beautifully designed with a modern touch. I especially enjoyed the delicious breakfast, which included fresh local flavors and high-quality ingredients. The on-site bar is a real highlight—it has a cool, relaxed vibe perfect for unwinding after a day exploring the city. Location-wise, it’s unbeatable; just a short walk to public transit and surrounded by great restaurants and shops. Every detail felt thoughtfully considered. I’d definitely stay here again without hesitation—truly one of the best experiences in Medellín.
I always stay at this hotel whenever I visit Medellín because of the incredible warmth and hospitality from the staff—it feels like being at home with family. I've been to Medellín nine times, and every single time, I choose this hotel without hesitation. It's quiet and peaceful, away from the city buzz, yet close to great restaurants, the metro, and Unicentro shopping mall. If you're planning a family trip and want a comfortable, welcoming place to stay, I highly recommend it—truly one of the best experiences I've had in the city.
Staying at Hotel Palmas del Estadio was a fantastic experience. The location is perfect—right in the heart of Laureles, just a short walk from the stadium, making it ideal for concerts, fairs, or sports events. The breakfast was delicious and well-rounded, with plenty of fresh options to start the day right. What stood out most was the cleanliness of the rooms—spotless and meticulously maintained. The neighborhood is quiet, safe, and welcoming, which added to the overall comfort. Whether you're visiting for an event or simply exploring Medellín, this hotel offers great value and a peaceful stay. I’d definitely book here again.
This is an excellent choice for accommodation! Located just a short walk from the stadium, it's incredibly convenient for events and local exploration. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with friendly staff who went the extra mile to make our stay pleasant. The location offers great access to public transport and nearby dining options. Overall, the value for money is outstanding—highly recommend for anyone visiting Medellín.
Our stay at Hotel Poma Rosa was generally positive despite a minor check-in issue that was quickly resolved by the front desk staff. The hotel is located in a convenient area with easy access to public transportation and plenty of dining options nearby—great for exploring the local scene. Rooms were clean and well-organized, and the overall atmosphere felt welcoming. The only downside was breakfast, which was quite basic with very limited choices—more like a simple snack than a proper meal. That said, considering the price point, it was still a good value for money. If you're looking for a budget-friendly option in Medellín with a central location and a relaxed vibe, this hotel is worth considering. Just be prepared for a no-frills breakfast and plan to eat out, which actually works in its favor given how many restaurants are within walking distance.
I stayed at this hotel at the beginning of the month for a two-day business trip, and I couldn't be more satisfied. The location is perfect—just a short walk from downtown Medellín, with easy access to public transit and plenty of nearby restaurants and shops. The building itself feels modern and well-maintained, with clean common areas and thoughtfully designed rooms. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my stay—they went out of their way to make sure everything was comfortable. I was in room 202, which faces the street, and it's definitely one of the best options. The view is fantastic, especially during sunset when the city lights come on. Plus, the room had excellent soundproofing, so no noise from the busy street disturbed my rest. Everything about this stay felt seamless and enjoyable. Highly recommend for both business and leisure travelers looking for comfort, convenience, and great value.
I booked this hotel after seeing good ratings on a platform, so I figured it’d be worth a try. I called directly and was told to come straight to the property—Juan-Pablo, the man who claims to be Italian, said he’d let me pick my room in person. When I arrived, I was shocked: the entire hotel was empty, and I was the only guest. He showed me a few rooms and strongly recommended one facing the street, saying it was quiet at night—completely false. For three nights, I was kept awake by constant traffic and motorcycle noise. No toilet paper or shower towels were provided—I had to call him multiple times just to get basic supplies. The room wasn’t clean at all—the toilet bowl looked like it hadn’t been scrubbed in years, and there was a toothpick on the carpet, which seemed covered in dust from decades ago. The bed was actually comfortable, so no complaints there. But the price? Big surprise. I was quoted 660,000 COP over the phone, but when I arrived, it was 731,000 COP. He insisted on cash payment and promised a discount, which I declined. I ended up paying by card—thankfully, because that’s what saved me. Breakfast the next morning was extremely minimal. On the second evening, I returned to find the room still uncleaned. I thought I’d ask the housekeeper to tidy it up the next day. Big mistake. The following morning, the hotel was completely deserted—no Juan-Pablo, no staff. I yelled his name repeatedly with no response. Since no one was around to help, I had to leave again for dinner. Later that night, I finally found a woman at the front desk and gave her a full, angry complaint. She handed me the owner’s email—but guess what? The room still wasn’t cleaned for the second night. In short, this was one of the worst hotel stays I’ve ever experienced. Absolutely avoid this place. Even the guest toiletry bag they left out was expired. 😅
Absolutely unforgettable experience! We came back three times—proof of how much we loved it. Though we didn’t stay overnight, the entire vibe was exceptional. Juan was incredibly friendly and helpful, truly representing the hotel’s spirit with a smile. The real highlight? Botanic 70—the lounge and bar area for VPV Suites. It’s not just a place to unwind; it’s an experience in itself. The drinks were expertly crafted, the atmosphere relaxed yet stylish, and the staff went above and beyond. If this is what the team delivers at the bar, imagine what the rest of the property offers. A standout gem in Medellín, perfect for travelers who value quality service and unique ambiance. Definitely worth revisiting.
I stayed at Hotel Boutique Street 50 for five nights and couldn’t be happier with the experience. The price is very fair for what you get—clean, well-maintained rooms with a great vibe. A small note: if your room faces the main street, there can be some noise from traffic, but it’s manageable and doesn’t ruin the stay. The location is fantastic, especially if you’re planning to catch a football match—the stadium is just a short walk away, and I highly recommend checking one out if you’re in town. It’s also close to the metro station and situated in a safe, quiet neighborhood, far from the bustling downtown area. Special shoutout to Joni, the host—super friendly, helpful, and always ready to assist. His warm hospitality made a big difference and truly elevated the whole experience.
My stay at Hotel Lares 70 Laureles in Medellín was absolutely fantastic. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel like family—warm, welcoming, and genuinely attentive. The room was spotless, and the overall atmosphere was peaceful and inviting. The only minor issue was the hot tub, which I mentioned felt a bit dirty. Within minutes, they took action and had it cleaned thoroughly. Their responsiveness and commitment to guest satisfaction truly stood out. The location is convenient, close to public transit, and the whole experience exceeded my expectations. I’d definitely book again and recommend this gem to anyone visiting Medellín.
