Platinum wan'ao Victory Hotel

Our 8-day self-drive trip across Shaanxi ended with a stay at Platinum Wan'ao Victory Hotel in Xi'an, and overall, it was an excellent choice. The location is incredibly convenient—right across from Hepingmen Metro Station, just a 50-meter walk away, making public transit access seamless for exploring the city. The hotel faces the ancient city wall directly, and it’s only about a 1.7-kilometer stroll to Yongning Gate if you want to walk along the wall—a pleasant way to enjoy the historic surroundings. Upon check-in, the front desk proactively upgraded us to a larger room, which made a big difference: spacious enough to comfortably unpack and move around, and ideal for family travel. Cleanliness was spot-on, meeting standard expectations without any issues. One minor drawback is the parking situation—being a multi-level garage, it’s not the most user-friendly, especially for larger vehicles, though my compact car navigated it easily. Breakfast was decent but not particularly impressive by luxury hotel standards—nothing overly elaborate, and we didn’t receive a third breakfast for our parents, which was slightly disappointing since this was one of only two hotels on the entire trip that didn’t offer it. Still, considering the excellent location, helpful staff, room comfort, and overall value, it’s hard not to give high praise. For travelers prioritizing convenience and a solid base in central Xi’an, this hotel is a strong recommendation.

The bedding was absolutely amazing—super comfortable with just the right amount of support, making it a dream to sleep in. The room was incredibly quiet, which made for a peaceful and relaxing stay. Everything felt warm and welcoming, like coming home. Having a laundry facility on-site is such a game-changer, especially for business travelers like me who need to freshen up during long trips. Right outside the door is the subway entrance, so getting around the city is super fast and convenient. Plus, there's an on-site parking lot—huge plus if you're arriving by car. The guests here seemed respectful and well-mannered, adding to the overall pleasant vibe. I especially want to thank the front desk staff today—they were so helpful and friendly, even when I was rushing through check-in. Xi'an Platinum Wan'ao Hotel (Big Wild Goose Pagoda Datang Everbright City)

Absolutely loved our one-night stay! The view of the Big Wild Goose Pagoda and the vibrant night lights of Datang Everbright City were breathtaking—so close you could almost touch them. The front desk recommended Tangma Courtyard for dinner, which was a welcome change after three days of halal food. It finally gave us that spicy, bold flavor reminiscent of Sichuan cuisine—perfect for satisfying our cravings. The hotel itself is spotless, brand new, and incredibly comfortable. Hot water was strong and consistent, the smart home system via Xiaodu worked flawlessly throughout the room, and the pillows and slippers were cozy. We even got some complimentary snacks—such a nice touch. This trip was part of a school research program during autumn break, and while we stayed at a hotel near Bell Tower for three nights, switching to this one felt like a real upgrade. If they could include breakfast in their seasonal rate for study tours, it would be absolutely perfect. Would definitely come back again when visiting Xi’an. One small suggestion: maybe upgrade the hairdryer to something from Huaqiangbei—just kidding, but seriously, keep up the great work! Wishing you continued success!

Staying in a true slice of Tang Dynasty charm—this hidden gem hotel exceeded all my expectations! I happened to be passing through Xi’an and immediately booked this place right next to the iconic Datang Evernight City. Staying at Wan'ao Hotel was an absolute highlight of my trip to Xi'an. The room was spacious and incredibly comfortable, with a modern, tech-savvy vibe—everything from lights to curtains can be controlled by voice commands. It's such a convenient feature, especially after a long day exploring the city. The only minor downside is that the hotel is on a higher floor, so during peak times, waiting for the elevator can take a bit longer—but it’s definitely worth it. Located right across from the famous Seguo Mall, the hotel puts you steps away from both the Metro Line 2 and Line 3’s Xiaozhai Station, making transit effortless. Inside Seguo Mall, the atmosphere is clean and stylish, and I highly recommend checking out Chang'an Street Food Court—it served some of the most authentic local flavors I’ve had in Xi’an. Just outside the south entrance, bus line 24 runs directly to Tang Paradise, perfect for catching the lantern festival if you're visiting during that season. A short walk west brings you to the serene Daxingshan Temple, a peaceful spot to unwind amid history and quiet beauty. With its unbeatable location, smart amenities, and excellent value, this hotel truly stands out. I’d stay here again in a heartbeat.

The staff were consistently polite, attentive, and genuinely caring—service excellence at its finest. And let’s not forget the neighborhood: right outside the hotel, there’s a vibrant local food scene with authentic street eats around every corner. If you’re visiting Xi’an, this is definitely where I’d come back to again. A top-tier experience in every way.
