There were numerous dead insects floating in the water, some already disintegrated, which clearly indicated it hadn’t been cleaned or skimmed in a while. We arrived in the afternoon and found no staff available to assist with check-in. The property promised to send access codes and room details via email within 24–48 hours of booking, but instead, we received the email at 8 AM on the day we were checking in—while we were still en route through the airport. That’s not just inconvenient; it’s unreasonable. When we tried calling the front desk, no one answered. Later, we got a text message saying someone was on the phone, yet they kept repeating ‘just read the email’ instead of sending the codes directly. Trying to sort through your inbox under Florida’s hot sun isn’t exactly ideal. Communication was limited to text messages only, and during our stay, we rarely saw any staff around. If you need help, good luck finding someone. Honestly, this place wouldn’t be my first choice. We only booked here because other hotels were priced over $500 during boat show season—so it was a last-minute, desperate option. But for the experience and lack of service, I’d hesitate to recommend it.
