The hotel offers incredible value for money—so much more than we expected. Our hostess, Miss Yu Ying, went above and beyond with her warm and attentive service. We were greeted with fresh welcome fruits, complimentary toiletries for our child, and a little New Year gift—a sweet touch that made us feel truly special. The room was spotless, spacious, and featured a massive 2.4-meter bed—perfect for families with kids. Best of all, the location is unbeatable: right next to West Lake, with easy access to public transit and major attractions. Whether you're here for sightseeing or just relaxing, this hotel delivers on every level. Highly recommended—I’ll definitely be coming back.

Sunday Sunny Resort

This was hands down the best booking of our trip—booked early before prices went up, and the value for money was outstanding. Nestled on San Tai Mountain, the hotel offers a peaceful retreat with fresh air and stunning natural surroundings. The nearest bus stop is at Yu Qian Temple, but we actually preferred walking to Wugui Tan to try the rowboat ride—unfortunately, it was canceled due to weather, but we made up for it by taking a scenic water bus from Guo Zhuang Pier to Hua Gang Guan Yu. The views along the way were absolutely beautiful. After exploring Hua Gang Guan Yu, we returned via the Xiao Lian Qing Feng line from Su Di Pier, which dropped us right at Yu Qian Temple Station—perfect for heading back to the hotel. One small downside: limited food delivery options nearby, but overall, the experience was flawless. This place truly delivers comfort, convenience, and charm.

This trip to Hangzhou was made even better by choosing the right place to stay! CityNote Hotel is perfectly located—just a short ride on a shared bike from West Lake, where I enjoyed stunning views and a peaceful stroll along the shore. Right next door is Yintai Mall and Hangzhou Jiebai, so shopping and dining are super convenient with no need to go far. The room was immaculate—crisp clean sheets, fresh linens, and an overall sense of quiet comfort. What surprised me most was how quiet it was, even late at night, making for a restful sleep. The staff went above and beyond too—free late-night snacks and cocktails were a delightful surprise. Every detail felt thoughtfully considered. This hotel offers amazing value and a truly memorable stay. Highly recommended!

Huachen International Hotel

Staying at Huachen International Hotel in Hangzhou was an absolute delight from start to finish. The room was spacious and thoughtfully designed, with all the amenities you'd expect from a five-star property—fridge, safe, excellent lighting, and a large TV with plenty of channels plus on-demand options. While there wasn’t a bathtub, everything else felt premium, and the high-floor lake view offered stunning vistas of West Lake. Hot water was strong and consistent, and the mattress struck the perfect balance—firm yet comfortable, with a great variety of pillows to choose from. What really stood out was the robot delivery service—a nice touch in what otherwise feels like a classic hotel. Staff were friendly, prompt, and attentive throughout. Location-wise, it’s just a short walk to West Lake, making it ideal for sightseeing, while free parking is a huge plus for those traveling by car. Breakfast was exceptional—wide variety, fresh, and served on the 19th floor where you can enjoy panoramic views of the lake and sky blending together. It truly made the morning special. Overall, this place offers incredible value, comfort, and charm. I’ll definitely be back.

MEHOOD LESTIE Hotel (Hangzhou Xihu Huanglong Sports Centre Flagship Store)

Stayed at MEHOOD LESTIE Hotel during New Year's trip and booked a room with a round bed—perfect size for a family of three, very comfortable. I’d recommend asking the front desk specifically for a room with floor-to-ceiling windows since some of the bay windows tend to let in drafts, making it chilly at night. The hotel’s location is excellent—just a short walk from shopping malls and only about 10 minutes by taxi to West Lake. That said, the breakfast area is quite small and gets packed early; we couldn’t find a seat even though we arrived around 8 AM. Food options were average too—nothing special. We ended up eating outside instead, which turned out to be a better choice. Despite that, the overall experience was great. Clean rooms, friendly staff, and good value for money. Definitely worth considering for a family visit to Hangzhou.

The hotel is just a 10-minute drive from in77 or a short 10-minute walk from the metro station—perfect for exploring the city without hassle. There are several great dining options nearby, so you never have to go far for a meal. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and attentive—always willing to help and proactive with any request. I especially appreciated the warm and genuine service. The floor attendant named Mei Hong was also very helpful and always on hand when needed. The room itself was spotless and well-maintained. If I had to suggest one small improvement, it would be adding a small trash bin near the sink and more power outlets by the bed for convenience. Overall, this is a comfortable, well-located hotel with excellent service—highly recommend for travelers looking for value and hospitality.

The location of this hotel is absolutely perfect—it's literally steps away from West Lake, with easy access to both Six Park and Five Park. Walking along the lakeside path is a delight, and nearby there’s a wartime memorial sculpture that adds a meaningful historical touch to the area. The staff went above and beyond in their service—especially when it came to meal delivery. Since we were traveling with an elderly family member who had difficulty getting to the dining area, the hotel kindly arranged for meals to be delivered to our room for two consecutive days. That level of care made a huge difference. From the prime location to the thoughtful hospitality, every detail felt just right. This place truly delivers on comfort, convenience, and warmth—highly recommend for anyone visiting Hangzhou.
