This stay was absolutely fantastic—truly one of the best options near Manhattan. The location is unbeatable: just a short walk to the subway, making it super easy to explore Midtown and downtown. The views of the city skyline are stunning, especially at night. The room was clean, spacious, and well-equipped with a full kitchenette—perfect for self-catering and saving money on meals. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the overall atmosphere felt modern yet welcoming. I was impressed by how quiet and comfortable the rooms were despite being close to the city buzz. For anyone looking for a convenient, stylish, and affordable base in NYC without breaking the bank, this hotel is an excellent choice. Would definitely come back.
Staying at the Courtyard Long Island City/New York Manhattan View was an excellent experience from start to finish. The hotel offers free drinking water on the basement level—a small but thoughtful touch. Its location is unbeatable—just a short walk from the subway station, making it super easy to get into Manhattan for work or sightseeing. The neighborhood feels safe and well-maintained, even late at night. Plus, there are plenty of authentic Chinese restaurants nearby, which made dining out a real treat. The room itself was spotless, with excellent soundproofing—no noise from the hallway or outside, so I slept like a baby. Cleanliness, convenience, and quiet comfort all in one. Definitely a top choice for anyone visiting NYC, whether for business or leisure.
Staying at SpringHill Suites New York Queens was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The staff were warm and welcoming, and I appreciated being able to store my luggage after check-out—perfect for a late departure. The hotel is just a 10-minute walk from the subway station, making it super convenient for getting around the city or heading to LGA airport. Breakfast was a highlight—plenty of variety and delicious food, but I’d recommend arriving early to snag a seat before it fills up. Unlimited coffee throughout the day is a great touch, and the daily fresh popcorn is such a nice surprise. It’s clear they care about guest comfort and little extras. Overall, a delightful stay with excellent value—definitely coming back.
The location is excellent—just a short walk to subway stations and all the great shops and restaurants in the Upper East Side. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with friendly staff throughout the stay. The only minor inconvenience was having just one elevator available, but it made sense when I learned the hotel was undergoing renovations in part of the building. That said, it didn’t significantly impact my experience. Overall, this is a solid choice for travelers looking for convenience, comfort, and value in Manhattan.
Staying at the Aloft Long Island City-Manhattan View was an absolute highlight of my trip to NYC. The hotel is perfectly located in a vibrant neighborhood packed with restaurants, shops, and local eateries—everything you need is just steps away. What truly sets this place apart is the rooftop terrace, offering stunning panoramic views of the Queensboro Bridge and Manhattan skyline. Watching the sunset from up there was unforgettable. Plus, it’s within walking distance to three subway stations, plus easy access to the LIC Gantry Park and Astoria Ferry Station for a quick ride to WTC. The modern, stylish design, excellent service, and unbeatable location make this hotel a top pick. I’d definitely come back.
Staying at Residence Inn New York Queens was an excellent experience from start to finish. The rooms are spacious, clean, and well-equipped with all the comforts you'd want for a longer stay. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and helpful—always smiling and ready to assist with anything, whether it was local recommendations or check-in questions. I noticed a lot of European travelers here, which made the atmosphere feel very international and welcoming. The location is convenient for getting around NYC via subway, and the overall vibe is relaxed yet modern. Great value for the price, and I’d definitely return without hesitation.
I stayed at this hotel during my recent trip to New York, and while the overall location was convenient—just a short subway ride into the city—the room could have been cleaner. There were a few visible spots that needed more attention, especially around the bathroom and floor. That said, the bed was comfortable, and the essentials were in good condition. It’s definitely a solid option if you’re looking for value without sacrificing proximity to downtown. I’d consider staying here again on future visits, especially since the price point makes it a great choice for budget-conscious travelers.
The William Vale offers a fantastic stay with stylish, comfortable rooms and an exceptional rooftop bar that delivers amazing views and a great vibe. The location is walkable and well-connected by subway, making it easy to explore New York City. While parking fees are on the higher side, they don’t take away from the overall experience. This place truly stands out for its modern design, excellent service, and unbeatable atmosphere—definitely a top choice for a memorable trip.
The Box House Hotel exceeded my expectations in nearly every way—except for the front desk staff, who could have been a bit more welcoming. Everything else was top-notch. The location is fantastic: just a short subway ride from downtown Manhattan, with plenty of great restaurants and shops nearby. My room was clean, spacious, and beautifully designed with modern touches. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the air felt fresh and crisp throughout the stay. I especially appreciated the well-lit bathroom with strong shower pressure and smart storage solutions. Even though the check-in experience wasn’t as warm as I’d hoped, the overall quality of the hotel, the attention to detail, and the value for money made up for it completely. I’d definitely book here again when visiting New York.
This hotel is hands down one of the quietest and safest places I've stayed in New York City, with an incredible view of Manhattan's glittering skyline. We traveled with our 2-year-old toddler, and everyone—including the little one—felt completely comfortable and relaxed throughout the stay. The rooms are spacious, the beds are super cozy, and the soundproofing makes for a peaceful night’s sleep. The on-site restaurant is absolutely a hidden gem—breakfast, lunch, and dinner were all delicious and well-prepared, even my picky eater loved it. Getting into Manhattan is just two subway stops away, making it incredibly convenient for exploring the city without hassle. The views from the room are stunning, especially at night when the city lights come alive. It’s rare to find such a perfect balance of comfort, convenience, and tranquility. Highly recommend this place for families or anyone looking for a high-quality stay in NYC.
This hotel is absolutely stunning—immaculate from top to bottom, and every staff member goes above and beyond with their warmth and professionalism. While the hotel doesn’t offer parking, there’s a great value lot just a two-minute walk away at 25 Kent St. We paid $64 for 2.5 days, which was incredibly reasonable. The room itself was a dream: exposed brick walls, soaring ceilings, and a bathroom that felt like a spa—with a massive tub and a powerful shower. Pro tip: if you’re sharing a room with someone you don’t want to see naked, be aware the shower partition isn’t a one-way mirror—you can actually see into it when someone’s showering. Luckily I was with my daughter, so no issues there. Both the in-house restaurant and the ramen spot next door are fantastic—definitely worth trying. I didn’t make it to the rooftop bar this time, but since I’ll be back every time I visit NYC, it’s definitely on my list for next time. The room was extremely quiet, and temperature control was effortless. That said, as someone who’s highly sensitive to energy and atmosphere, I did notice some unusual things right from the moment I walked in. Nothing scary—I’m not prone to fear—but I experienced several undeniable phenomena: seeing movement down the hall in both my room and the public corridor, hearing voices speaking clearly nearby when I was alone in the shower, and even hearing the stairwell door open directly beside our room, only to find it empty when I checked. It wasn’t coming from another room—it felt immediate, personal. After returning home, my daughter looked up the building’s history, and let’s just say it shed light on everything. There’s a reason why the third floor (near what used to be a fire escape) felt particularly charged. It also explains why my first thought upon opening the front door was, “I’m surprised they get away with inward-opening doors—this violates fire code.” Anyway, if you’re curious, do your own research. But regardless of all that, this is an exceptional hotel at a fair price, located in a safe and beautiful part of Brooklyn. I’ll be back again without hesitation.
Staying at Franklin Guesthouse was an absolute delight! The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and I appreciated the option to check in early (for a small fee), which made our arrival so much smoother. The room was spotlessly clean, and the neighborhood felt safe and quiet—perfect for a relaxing getaway. What really stood out was how convenient the location is: just steps away from a cozy corner market where we picked up snacks and essentials. Everything we needed was within walking distance, including public transit that made exploring New York City a breeze. Honestly, I’d have given every category a perfect 5-star rating if it weren’t for the app glitching and automatically unchecking my selections. Despite that minor frustration, this place exceeded my expectations—great value, warm atmosphere, and a homey feel. Definitely planning to return.
