This place is absolutely fantastic—safe, clean, and incredibly convenient. Our host Barnaba met us right at the airport boat transfer, which was so thoughtful and made our arrival stress-free. The communication from the platform was clear, with detailed instructions on which boat to take—just a bit lengthy before confirmation, but clearly done for clarity. The apartment layout is a little tricky, but that’s typical of older buildings in Venice. Still, it’s spotless, well-maintained, and just a 2-minute walk from Rialto Bridge—the heart of the city. A 10-minute stroll takes you straight to Doge's Palace, making it perfectly central for exploring everything Venice has to offer. If you want convenience and charm in one package, this is the place.
Hotel Al Ponte Dei Sospiri
Staying at Hotel Al Ponte Dei Sospiri was a delightful experience overall. The breakfast delivered to the room was fresh, delicious, and offered a great variety—definitely one of the highlights. Staff were friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. The only minor drawback was that the room felt a bit chilly, but it wasn’t unbearable with an extra blanket. That said, the view from our window was quite underwhelming—nothing special. If you’re planning a visit, I’d highly recommend booking a room with a scenic view, especially one overlooking the canal or the famous bridge. With the right room, this place truly shines. Great location, charming atmosphere, and excellent value for money. I’d definitely stay here again when visiting Venice.
Savoia & Jolanda Apartments 2
This trip took us across several European cities, and Savoia & Jolanda Apartments 2 was definitely our favorite stop. The apartment is perfectly located—close to all major sights without being in the busiest tourist zone. Right next door is a famous bookstore where you can even take photos with a vintage gondola, adding such a unique charm to the stay. The unit itself is incredibly well-equipped: a fully functional kitchen with everything you need, plus the surprise bonus of a washing machine—so convenient for longer stays. The check-in staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making the whole experience warm and welcoming. Booking early really pays off—great value if you plan ahead. Highly recommend this gem for anyone visiting Venice.
Palazzo Guardi
The location of Palazzo Guardi is excellent—just a 15-minute walk from Piazzale Roma and literally one minute from Accademia Station, with San Marco Square just a short stroll away. I checked the hotel via Google Street View before arrival, and it was easy to spot. The breakfast was satisfying, the staff were friendly and attentive, and the room was spacious, warm, and comfortable. I especially appreciated the free beverages stocked in the fridge. The only downside is that the hotel is on the third floor, and the elevator is extremely small and slow—be prepared for some patience when going up or down. Despite that, the overall experience was outstanding. I’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend Palazzo Guardi to anyone visiting Venice.

We had a great stay at this charming little hotel in Venice. The staff, especially Simon, were incredibly helpful and friendly—Simon even carried our luggage up the stairs without hesitation, which was such a nice gesture. While there’s no elevator, it didn’t feel like a hassle thanks to the warm hospitality. The room was clean, cozy, and had that authentic Venetian charm. Being right by the canal made for a peaceful morning view and easy access to nearby sights. Overall, a lovely experience with excellent value. Definitely recommend for travelers looking for something quiet yet central.
Al Bailo di Venezia
We stayed here with our family, and overall, the experience was excellent. The hotel is incredibly clean, safe, and every little detail shows thoughtfulness—really made us feel at home. One small suggestion: the AC vent in the room was dusty, so cleaning it or replacing the filter would be a great improvement. Also, since we had elderly guests with us, it would be helpful if guest services were more accessible—having to walk around to check in was a bit challenging. Despite that, the location is fantastic, close to everything, and public transport makes getting around Venice super easy. We truly appreciated the attention to cleanliness and security. Definitely a place we’d recommend and return to.
