The cityscape around Wuyuan Bay is beautifully maintained, with elegant residential areas and villas adding to the charm. The view from the room is breathtaking—direct sightlines of the bay and the bridge, whether during the day or at night. What truly stood out was the concert shuttle service; after the show, the driver even offered bottled water, and the vehicle had the artist’s songs playing in the background—a thoughtful touch that made the whole experience unforgettable. I was also impressed by the concierge team: one staff member kindly returned my charging power bank to the mall before I even checked in! Another team member, named Fugui Hua Kai, went above and beyond by personally arranging my transfers, hand-writing a sweet note, and leaving fresh fruit and dessert upon arrival. This level of care made my stay feel personal and special. If you're visiting Xiamen, this hotel should be at the top of your list—excellent service, stunning views, and an unforgettable experience.

The room itself is immaculately maintained: the smart toilet works flawlessly, the HD TV delivers crisp picture quality, and the Wi-Fi is lightning fast—no buffering during streaming or work calls. The bedding stands out—medium-firm mattress, perfectly balanced for comfort, and a down duvet that’s light yet cozy enough to keep you warm all night. Staff are attentive and helpful; they greeted us warmly, shared details about laundry facilities and breakfast timing, and even offered a thoughtful late-night bowl of hot porridge. Cleanliness is top-notch—the bathroom features full dry-wet separation, with spotless white tiles and no lingering chemical smell in the towels. The lobby lounge area is a real gem—quiet, tastefully designed, with complimentary aromatic tea and a peaceful vibe ideal for working remotely or meeting a friend. The only minor drawback? The room size is compact, around 20 sqm—opening a 28-inch suitcase leaves little walking space, so if you're traveling with a partner, you might need to take turns unpacking. But for travelers who mainly sleep here and spend days exploring the city, the layout is efficient and functional. Overall, an excellent choice with strong value for money.

Stayed at Putian Hotel (Xiamen Mingfa Plaza) and was genuinely impressed by the outstanding value for money. The room was surprisingly spacious—far bigger than expected for the price—and everything was clean, well-maintained, and comfortable. The new front desk staff member, Yu Ni, was absolutely fantastic—friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. Even when we weren’t sure how to ask our questions, she patiently guided us through everything. Location is excellent too—just a short walk from Xiamen Railway Station and surrounded by great dining options. I’ll definitely be booking here again on my next trip to Xiamen!

Lai Xinyueju Homestay

Staying at this homestay was a delightful surprise! The place is spotlessly clean with a fully equipped kitchen, and all appliances, air conditioning, and furniture were in perfect condition. I've stayed here multiple times, and each visit has been excellent. The room was spotless and incredibly clean—especially the bedding, which felt fresh and odor-free, making for a truly restful night's sleep. The host responded quickly and was very attentive to every request. Location is fantastic: just a short walk from Wuyuan Bay (about 700 meters), and there are plenty of great dining options nearby. I came here solo for some quiet time and couldn’t be happier with the choice. Just a short walk from Huangcuo Beach, it’s perfect for morning sunrises and peaceful strolls along the shore. The villa is well-equipped with everything I needed—comfortable bed, fully functional kitchen, laundry facilities, and reliable AC. Cleanliness was top-notch; even after noon, the housekeeper kindly checked in to ask if I wanted a room tidy-up—so thoughtful! Having an elevator makes moving around easy, especially with luggage. Getting a taxi or public transport nearby is hassle-free, and there are plenty of dining options within walking distance—great for grabbing a quick bite while exploring the local vibe. The staff were warm and welcoming every time I saw them, making the whole stay feel personal and comfortable. This place truly offers excellent value, and I’d definitely come back.
