Sunday Sunny Resort
This was hands down the best booking of our trip—booked early before prices went up, and the value for money was outstanding. Nestled on San Tai Mountain, the hotel offers a peaceful retreat with fresh air and stunning natural surroundings. The nearest bus stop is at Yu Qian Temple, but we actually preferred walking to Wugui Tan to try the rowboat ride—unfortunately, it was canceled due to weather, but we made up for it by taking a scenic water bus from Guo Zhuang Pier to Hua Gang Guan Yu. The views along the way were absolutely beautiful. After exploring Hua Gang Guan Yu, we returned via the Xiao Lian Qing Feng line from Su Di Pier, which dropped us right at Yu Qian Temple Station—perfect for heading back to the hotel. One small downside: limited food delivery options nearby, but overall, the experience was flawless. This place truly delivers comfort, convenience, and charm.

A mere 500 meters further leads straight to Jiuxi Yancun, where we arrived at 8:30 AM to find the trail completely quiet and serene—feeling like we had the entire place to ourselves. Parking was also a big plus: ample spots available, and even EV charging stations, which made our trip stress-free. This hidden gem offers comfort, convenience, and a peaceful escape—all at an unbeatable value. I’ll definitely be back.

The rooftop restaurant on floor 15 offered a well-rounded breakfast spread: porridge, noodles, dumplings, fresh bread, fruits, and small side dishes—all satisfyingly varied. Upon arrival, we were greeted with welcome fruit, and the kids even received a little snack pack. The mini-fridge had complimentary soft drinks available anytime, and staff replenished them daily. Bottled water could be requested at the front desk, and I was pleasantly surprised by the food delivery robot—an innovative touch that added a modern flair. Staff were friendly and attentive, and thanks to the booking platform, we were able to upgrade to early check-in and late checkout without hassle. Located just a 10-minute walk from Datieguan Metro Station, the hotel is also steps away from a convenience store—ideal for last-minute needs. With its thoughtful amenities, excellent service, and unbeatable location, this place truly stands out. Definitely planning to come back.
