Public bus stops are right outside, making transit easy and efficient—while the MRT station is a bit farther, taking the bus works just as well. Both hotels share facilities, and one of my favorite things is their two swimming pools: a 25-meter standard pool ideal for laps, and a smaller, kid-friendly pool that’s clean and well-maintained. Breakfast is another highlight—each hotel has its own restaurant, both offering a wide variety of options, from local favorites to international dishes, plus fresh fruit and hot meals daily. Room-wise, the Novotel is slightly larger (20 sqm vs. 15 sqm) and comes with a small sofa, while the Mercure is more compact but otherwise identical in amenities. Everything else is the same: daily snacks like chips, two beers, and four drinks included. The Novotel is pricier by about CNY 100–200, but honestly, the difference isn’t worth it for me. For a long stay, the Mercure offers better value without sacrificing comfort or quality. If you’re looking for a reliable, well-located, and affordable option in Singapore, this pair of hotels is definitely worth considering.

Shangri-La Apartments

Staying at Shangri-La Apartments in Singapore was an absolutely fantastic experience. The room was spacious and filled with natural light, making it feel very comfortable and welcoming. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive—especially Linda on the 9th floor, who went above and beyond with her warm and thoughtful service. It’s great to see a multilingual team, including Chinese-speaking staff at the lobby, which made communication easy and stress-free. Being just steps away from the Shangri-La Hotel meant we could easily enjoy dining or heading to the fitness center without needing to travel far. The private pool is well-maintained and perfect for relaxing after a long day. With excellent location, top-notch amenities, and genuine hospitality, this place offers incredible value. I’d definitely book here again if I ever return to Singapore.

My stay at ONE°15 Marina Sentosa Cove was absolutely delightful from start to finish. Dining at Latitude was a highlight: the ambiance, the food, and especially the view of the yachts moored just outside created a truly relaxing atmosphere. I also want to give a special shout-out to the housekeeping team, particularly Ms. Kalai. I accidentally left my laptop charger behind after checking out, and she made sure it was safely held until I returned to collect it—a small gesture, but one that speaks volumes about the attention to detail and genuine care this hotel offers. Every aspect of service here exceeded expectations. Whether you're looking for a peaceful waterfront retreat or a comfortable base for exploring Singapore, this property delivers on all fronts. Staying at Orchard Parksuites was an absolute delight! The location is unbeatable—just a short walk to Orchard Road, with MRT and bus stops right outside. Everything I needed for daily life was available, from kitchen essentials to laundry facilities, making it feel like home. The pool and fitness center were well-maintained and perfect for a morning swim or quick workout. I especially appreciated the quiet, clean environment and the thoughtful touches throughout the unit. Whether traveling solo or with family, this place offers comfort, convenience, and great value. Definitely my top pick in Singapore and I’ll be back without hesitation.

Holiday Inn Singapore Atrium

We stayed at Holiday Inn Singapore Atrium with my parents, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience. The location is unbeatable—right next to the MRT station, making it super easy to get around town. We easily reached iconic spots like Chinatown and Marina Bay without any hassle. There are countless restaurants and shopping options just steps away, so we never ran out of things to do or eat. The room was spacious, clean, and incredibly comfortable—great for relaxing after a day of exploring. The staff went above and beyond with their service, always friendly and attentive. When my son moved to Singapore for studies a year ago, I initially planned just a short stay before renting a regular apartment. I thought hotels would be too busy and not ideal for long-term living. What stood out most was the community vibe: since most guests are long-term residents, everyone respects the space and keeps the environment clean and quiet. It feels more like a homey residential haven than a hotel. The apartments are well-equipped with full kitchens, laundry facilities, and modern amenities—perfect for daily living. Located just steps from the MRT, getting around to Orchard Road or business districts is super convenient. I ended up staying longer than planned, and now I’m still here. If I ever return to Singapore, this will be my first choice again.
