The location is incredibly convenient—right across from Hepingmen Metro Station, just a 50-meter walk away, making public transit access seamless for exploring the city. The hotel faces the ancient city wall directly, and it’s only about a 1.7-kilometer stroll to Yongning Gate if you want to walk along the wall—a pleasant way to enjoy the historic surroundings. Upon check-in, the front desk proactively upgraded us to a larger room, which made a big difference: spacious enough to comfortably unpack and move around, and ideal for family travel. Cleanliness was spot-on, meeting standard expectations without any issues. One minor drawback is the parking situation—being a multi-level garage, it’s not the most user-friendly, especially for larger vehicles, though my compact car navigated it easily. Breakfast was decent but not particularly impressive by luxury hotel standards—nothing overly elaborate, and we didn’t receive a third breakfast for our parents, which was slightly disappointing since this was one of only two hotels on the entire trip that didn’t offer it. The hotel’s side entrance leads straight into the Tang Paradise Night Market, and it’s just a 10-minute walk to the Big Wild Goose Pagoda—ideal for evening strolls. The staff, especially Zoe and Kiko at reception, were incredibly attentive and thoughtful—they even provided kids’ toiletries without being asked. The room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and the bedding was wonderfully comfortable, making for a restful night’s sleep. Great for families, as I felt completely at ease traveling with my children. Breakfast offered a wide variety of both Chinese and Western options—plenty of choices and delicious quality. One small downside: the key card doesn’t allow charging after removal, which was slightly inconvenient. But honestly, this minor issue doesn’t take away from an outstanding experience. If you’re visiting Xi’an, this hotel should be at the top of your list.
