The guest manager, Xiao Luo, went above and beyond—she reached out before check-in to confirm details and checked in regularly during our stay to ensure everything was satisfactory. On checkout day, she even arranged a late departure without hassle, which was incredibly thoughtful. The room itself was spotless and comfortable, with soft bedding that made for a restful night’s sleep. The housekeeping staff were thorough and attentive, leaving no corner untouched. Every team member we interacted with showed genuine warmth and professionalism. From start to finish, the service felt personal and caring. The hotel is beautifully situated right in the middle of a park, which made morning runs absolutely delightful. I was amazed by how passionate locals are about jogging—there were people everywhere, creating such an energetic vibe. Just behind the hotel is a charming pigeon plaza where you can relax and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. My lake-view room had an incredible panorama—every time I opened the curtains, it felt like nature was right outside my window. Whether you're here for business or leisure, this place offers a perfect balance of tranquility and convenience. Highly recommended!

Xiamen Airlines Lakeside Hotel

Staying at Xiamen Airlines Lakeside Hotel in Bailingzhou was an absolute delight. The check-in experience was seamless, with friendly staff who even brought a welcome honey drink to the room and reminded us about late-night snacks—such thoughtful touches! The room overlooks Bailingzhou Park’s serene lake, and waking up to see egrets gracefully flying across the water was truly peaceful and refreshing. Breakfast was excellent—plenty of variety, fresh ingredients, and a pleasant dining atmosphere. I highly recommend checking out the fitness center: top-notch equipment, a sauna, and a stunning infinity pool that makes working out feel like a luxury. From service to amenities, everything was well-executed. This hotel delivers on comfort, convenience, and charm—perfect for both business and leisure travelers. Would definitely stay here again.

Kempinski Hotel Xiamen

I started with a king-size room and later switched to a twin-bed room. Honestly, I found the king-size room had a more spacious and open layout—much more comfortable overall. The twin room was still quite large, but felt slightly cramped in comparison, especially the bathroom area. It also seemed less well-maintained—the tiles had water stains, and there was a faint odor coming from the drain. That said, cleanliness across the room was still good, and the beds were nicely soft with high-quality linens that made for a very restful night’s sleep. If the twin room’s maintenance could be improved—especially around the bathroom—the experience would be even better. Overall, the king-size room stood out as the clear winner in terms of comfort and space, making it a great choice for travelers who value a relaxed, airy feel.

Jingmin Hotel Central Xiamen

This is an absolutely outstanding five-star hotel experience! The service was exceptional—staff were warm, attentive, and highly professional from check-in to check-out. Breakfast and dinner were both impressive: abundant, delicious, and thoughtfully prepared. The room view was breathtaking, with stunning city or garden scenery that made every moment feel special. What truly stood out was how well the little details were handled—everything from the welcome amenities to the quiet attention to comfort made the stay unforgettable. I especially want to highlight Assistant Manager Xiao Wu and Xiao Chen—they were incredibly friendly, helpful, and went the extra mile to make guests feel valued. This hotel delivers on every level: location, comfort, dining, and hospitality. A perfect choice for both business and leisure travelers. I’ll definitely be back.

Check-in at The Westin Xiamen was an absolute delight, mainly thanks to the incredible front desk staff member, Molly. From the moment I walked in, her warm smile instantly put me at ease. She was incredibly attentive, patient, and thorough in explaining all the details—nothing was left unclear, and I never felt like I had to double-check anything or make extra trips. Her professionalism and smooth handling of the process made everything quick and stress-free. But beyond just efficiency, she radiated kindness and genuine care. It’s rare to find someone who combines such polished service with a welcoming personality. Molly truly made my stay feel special right from the start. If I ever return to this hotel, I’ll be hoping to see her again—she’s definitely a standout. The level of hospitality here is exceptional, and I highly recommend staying here for both the comfort and the amazing people behind the scenes.

Pan Pacific Xiamen

We stayed at Pan Pacific Xiamen with our kids and booked the adorable Minion-themed room—so much fun! From the moment we walked in, everything was covered in cheerful yellow duck motifs. The kids were instantly thrilled, and even the bathroom amenities had cute little duck designs. Despite being a slightly older five-star property, cleanliness was outstanding—so clean that we didn’t even need to unpack our own sheets or pillowcases. Our room was consistently tidy thanks to the amazing housekeeper, Ms. Ye Meilan, who went above and beyond with her attention to detail. The front desk staff, especially Miss Huang Jinhua, was incredibly helpful—we asked if she could print out our child’s homework, and she did it right away without hesitation. The whole hotel exudes that classic old-money elegance, with thoughtful touches everywhere—from the decor to the service. It’s clear they care about every guest experience. A truly memorable stay, highly recommended for families looking for comfort, charm, and genuine hospitality.

This trip to Xiamen was a perfect chance to slow down and truly immerse in the rhythm of life on Gulangyu Island. Having previously experienced the exceptional service at Lohkah Isle properties, I was thrilled to discover there’s one right here on the island. Without hesitation, I booked it—and the experience exceeded all expectations. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond: warm, personal greetings, seamless assistance with luggage, and even a thoughtful farewell gift—a box of Jinlan pastries that made the departure feel special. The complimentary guided tour was a highlight—led by a lifelong local who shared fascinating stories behind the island’s architecture, adding real depth to our visit. In the evening, invited to the Sunset Tea Room, I enjoyed a quiet moment sipping tea while watching the sun dip below the horizon, with views stretching across Xiamen and Zhangzhou. The conversation with the host revealed the building’s rich history—something you’d never learn from a guidebook. And then, the little surprise: a delicate charm left on the bed during turndown service. It stayed with me long after. Breakfast was equally impressive—elegant buffet-style with both Western and Chinese options, served wherever you wanted: your room, the garden, or the dining area. Special thanks to Leo and Stone for their professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail—they made the entire stay unforgettable. This isn’t just a hotel; it’s a heartfelt experience. Wanjia International Hotel

I had a fantastic stay at Wanjia International Hotel, and I can't recommend it enough! The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming—upon check-in, they upgraded me to a larger room without any extra charge. They also included a generous breakfast with both Western and local options, which was delicious and well-prepared. The hotel is well-maintained, with clean rooms, comfortable beds, and modern facilities. Free parking is a big plus for travelers driving in. Plus, the location is perfect—just steps from Cai Tang Metro Station, making it easy to explore the city. There are plenty of great dining options nearby, so you won’t go hungry. With its excellent service, convenience, and value, this hotel is definitely my top pick for future visits to Xiamen.
