A special thanks to front desk manager Barton and the staff at the Executive Lounge (Langham Club), especially Irene—their attention to detail and genuine hospitality made our stay truly memorable. Mehood Elegant Hotel (Zhujiang New Town Canton Tower)

Staying at Mehood Elegant Hotel in Zhujiang New Town was an absolute delight. The location is unbeatable—my room offered a 180-degree panoramic view of Canton Tower, with stunning views both during the day and at night. The area around the hotel is packed with restaurants, making dining in or ordering takeout incredibly convenient. While there’s no delivery robot (I’m used to seeing them in Shenzhen, so I was a little surprised 😂), the takeaway boxes are neatly organized on the first floor for easy pickup. What truly made my stay special was my lovely hostess, Manman—she’s not only sweet-looking but also incredibly attentive and thoughtful. She greeted me with fresh welcome fruit upon arrival and went above and beyond to assist with any request. The afternoon tea and late-night snacks were delicious, the room was immaculately clean, and the amenities were top-tier—L'Occitane toiletries and a Dyson hairdryer made the experience feel luxurious. Every detail felt cared for. I left feeling genuinely satisfied and already planning my next visit. I’d highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and genuine hospitality.

The Westin Pazhou

Staying at The Westin Pazhou in Guangzhou was an absolutely fantastic experience. The room was spacious and incredibly comfortable, especially the Heavenly Bed—so soft and supportive that I slept like a baby. They upgraded me to a high-floor riverside view room, and the panoramic views of the Pearl River were breathtaking. Waking up to that view was pure joy. Breakfast was included and exceeded expectations—plenty of variety, from delicious dim sum (the rice noodle rolls were amazing) to fresh fruits and western options. Staff were attentive and responded instantly to any request—truly hospitality at its finest. Free parking is a big plus, and being just a 5-minute walk from the metro station makes exploring the city effortless. This hotel offers outstanding value for money and a memorable stay. From the moment I reached out before check-in to the warm farewell at checkout, the staff—Luca, Oscar, and Jackie—went above and beyond with their thoughtful service. Honestly, it even surpassed my experience watching *Water Temples* in Macau, which was already an incredibly immersive show. But this hotel felt like the perfect, unforgettable ending to my trip. Located directly across from the Canton Tower, the view alone is breathtaking—and yes, there’s a private birdwatching platform, but that’s just one of many small details that make this place special. The grand entrance features vintage cars, and the scent of fresh flowers fills the air as you step inside. After staying at the Longjiang White Tiger Suite, I was thrilled to be upgraded again—this time to a spacious one-bedroom suite. And what came with it? A beautiful surprise package: a local map, a delicate sachet, a record-shaped fridge magnet, a plush toy for kids, traditional Guangzhou biscuits, a welcome drink, and free minibar credits—so many little joys! There are simply not enough photos to capture all the design magic: the record-style door panels, playful skateboard reminders, and the remote control cleverly hidden in a decorative box. Trees grow freely along the lush garden pathways, making every walk feel like strolling through a quiet park. Even the umbrella in the room has a matching aesthetic on the inside—proof that every detail was considered. It’s impossible not to fall in love with a place that feels both effortlessly stylish and deeply personal. I left feeling truly happy, inspired, and completely enchanted. This wasn’t just a stay—it was an experience I’ll remember forever.

The rooms are spacious, with open views of lush greenery, and being tucked away on a quiet inner street means it's peaceful and relaxing. The interior design is top-notch, with attention to detail that feels both luxurious and welcoming. Breakfast offers a great variety and tastes delicious—perfect for starting the day right. There’s a well-equipped gym on the 9th floor and an amazing rooftop terrace on the 10th floor, offering fantastic city views and a serene atmosphere ideal for unwinding or enjoying a sunset drink. The mattress was incredibly comfortable, making for a restful night’s sleep. One of the highlights was the robot delivering my takeout straight to my door—just make sure to include your room number when ordering, or it might get sent to the wrong place. Free laundry and drying service is such a convenient bonus, especially during busy travel days. Breakfast was abundant and delicious, with plenty of variety to choose from. The staff were friendly and attentive throughout, and I even appreciated the follow-up courtesy from the safety team—it really made me feel valued.
