The location is perfect: just a 10-minute bike ride to West Lake and only 8–10 minutes to Lingyin Temple, making it super convenient for exploring the area on two wheels. The surrounding trails and quiet streets make cycling or walking the best way to get around. The staff went above and beyond—before check-in, they reached out to help with transport tips and followed up afterward to see how we were enjoying our stay. Having a 24/7 concierge was a huge plus. And the breakfast? Fantastic. Since the hotel runs its own Chinese restaurant, the food is fresh, flavorful, and authentic. The accommodation was cozy and comfortable, even though the balcony felt a bit chilly. However, the view and overall atmosphere made it well worth it. The resort’s architecture is truly unique—each balcony feels like it’s nestled in a loft with a striking sloped design. Surrounded by serene mountain scenery, the property beautifully blends traditional elements: pavilions, bridges, and flowing waterways create a peaceful, almost dreamlike setting. We enjoyed both breakfast and dinner on-site, and every meal was satisfying and delicious. It’s rare to find such charm, tranquility, and excellent service all in one place. The upgraded room was absolutely dreamy—my favorite part was soaking in the bathtub while gazing out at the serene mountain view through the floor-to-ceiling glass. Natural light floods in, and the open-air balcony with lush greenery outside made every moment feel calming and refreshing. Getting there was easy—just a short walk from the metro station, following clear signs up a few steps and along a tree-lined path flanked by towering gingko and sycamore trees. You’ll spot the hotel right at the corner of a quiet street. It’s just one stop from Tianmu Li, which is perfect for a full day of exploring: art exhibitions, shopping, great cafes, and Instagram-worthy architecture and nature shots. A few stops further, you can visit Zhejiang University, wetlands, or botanical gardens—all within easy reach. And if you want to head into downtown, it’s only six stops away. Super convenient! The staff were warm and attentive, and the breakfast spread was generous and delicious. Definitely worth waking up early for!

It’s hands down the best hotel breakfast I’ve ever had—endless options, beautifully presented, and each dish tasted thoughtfully crafted. I could’ve stayed there just for the food alone.
