There’s also plenty to do nearby—shopping malls, photogenic spots, and local eateries—all within walking distance. And don’t miss the traditional youtiao breakfast stall right across the street. It’s popular for good reason—crispy, fresh, and delicious. We waited in line for a bit, but it was worth it. Next door is a small massage parlor run by an incredibly skilled therapist. For just 168 RMB per hour, we got a relaxing full-body massage that left us completely refreshed—perfect for travelers wanting to unwind after a long day. Highly recommend. The only minor downside? The entrance requires climbing a few steps without a ramp, which could be tricky for guests with heavy luggage or mobility challenges. But honestly, that’s a tiny trade-off for such a great overall experience. If you’re visiting Hongkou District in Shanghai, this HanTing Hotel is definitely on my list to stay again.

The service quality is truly consistent with Hyatt’s world-class standards: warm, attentive, and thoughtful. Even with high demand at The Club Lounge, staff still offered gracious, low-bow service to members—such a nice touch. The welcome fruit and breakfast were both delicious and well-prepared. And the view? Absolutely breathtaking. The Bund skyline is stunning day or night—definitely worth every moment spent by the window. I’ve already taken countless photos and can’t wait to come back.
