Manager Du went above and beyond by personally arranging rooms for our family on the same floor and next to each other, which made everything so much easier with kids in tow. Even before we asked, he had already prepared child-sized toiletries and slippers—such a thoughtful touch! It’s clear that attention to detail is taken seriously here. We were genuinely surprised and delighted by how well-cared-for we felt throughout our stay. This wasn’t just a hotel—it felt like a home away from home. I’m already planning my next visit. What made it even more special was that when my child celebrated their 9th birthday during our stay, he personally arranged a small birthday cake in advance. My child couldn’t stop smiling—it turned into a memorable, heartfelt experience. The breakfast spread was generous and diverse, offering both local and international flavors. Every detail felt thoughtfully curated. If I ever return to Beijing, this will be my top choice without hesitation.

Check-in was smooth, and the lobby was beautifully decorated for Christmas, creating a festive atmosphere that my kids loved. They took lots of fun photos around the decor. The hotel is just a short walk from Cai Shi Kou Metro Station, and it’s only two stops to the South Railway Station—perfect for travelers on a tight schedule. The staff truly went above and beyond. During our four-night stay, housekeeping came by daily with fresh towels and clean supplies. They even noticed our clothes piled up and left laundry detergent—such a thoughtful touch. On Mid-Autumn Festival evening, we returned to our room to find mooncakes waiting for us—so sweet and unexpected! This small gesture made the whole trip feel special. I’ll definitely come back to Beijing and choose Guidu Hotel again. I’ve already recommended it to friends and family—truly a gem in the heart of Beijing.

I loved how convenient it was to order food via the delivery robot—it brought my meal right to my door without needing to leave the room. The bathroom features a proper separation between wet and dry areas, and they even provide conditioner—small touches that make a big difference. The staff were incredibly warm and helpful; they offered complimentary coffee and late-night snacks (available until 12:00 AM), and as a member, I was able to extend check-out to 2:00 PM—perfect for a relaxed morning. While the sound insulation isn’t perfect—some noise from the hallway and neighboring rooms is noticeable—the overall comfort level is excellent. The bed setup was top-notch: four pillows (memory foam and cotton), a well-balanced duvet, and high-quality toiletries. Location-wise, this hotel is ideal for exploring Beijing’s local charm. It’s tucked away in Lanman Hutong, where the festive atmosphere during holidays is truly special. Just a 13-minute walk to Taoran Pavilion Metro Station (Line 4), one stop from Beijing South Railway Station, and only 12 minutes to Niujie—home to some of Beijing’s best Muslim cuisine. Nearby options include McDonald’s (just 946m away) and KFC (1.8km). With excellent value for money, modern amenities, and a welcoming vibe, this place stands out. If you’re looking for a quiet, stylish, and well-connected base in Beijing, this hotel is a must-try. I’ll definitely be coming back.

There was also a hands-on craft workshop and a lovely tea and fruit platter waiting. The staff were incredibly warm, polite, and always ready to help. The room follows the classic courtyard layout, so it’s not huge, but everything you need is there—clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully designed. Breakfast was a generous buffet with a good variety of options, both sweet and savory. Overall, the day flew by in comfort and charm.
