Every time my boyfriend and I visit Kaohsiung, we always choose Kung Shang Design Hotel as our first stop. The room is spacious with a standalone bathtub, perfect for relaxing after a long day. What really stands out are the themed rooms—last time we stayed in the racing-themed suite, which was incredibly fun and immersive. They even provide a PS4 with racing games, making it feel like a mini gaming retreat. The hotel’s management system runs smoothly, and the staff are friendly and attentive. We’ve been here over seven times now, and it’s still our top pick every single trip. With its artistic vibe, great amenities, and overall value, this place truly delivers a memorable stay.

City Suites - Kaohsiung Chenai

My stay at City Suites - Kaohsiung Chenai was overall very positive. The hotel’s location is excellent—super convenient for getting around town, with plenty of dining options and local amenities just steps away. While the room isn’t large, it’s spotlessly clean, well-maintained, and fully equipped. I didn’t notice any odors or noise disturbances during my stay, which made for a comfortable and restful experience. The front desk staff were friendly and efficient, making check-in quick and hassle-free—perfect for business travelers or anyone needing a short-term base. The only downside is that the common areas are quite basic with limited facilities, but considering the price point and unbeatable convenience, the value for money is outstanding. I’d definitely consider this place again for future last-minute stays or brief trips to Kaohsiung.
