Staying at the West Lake Liufanglin Hostel was an absolute delight from start to finish. Staying at Hushanwoju Hostel in Hangzhou was such a delightful surprise! The owner is actually from Xianju, and that’s where the magic begins. Right when we checked in, we were greeted with a fresh box of juicy Xianju strawberries—no need to travel all the way there to enjoy them! These little red gems were sweet, tangy, and absolutely delicious. I was told every guest gets one during their stay—what a thoughtful touch! Even better, if you buy a box of Xianju strawberries here, you get a free ticket (worth 110 RMB) to the famous Shennongjia Scenic Area. That’s an unbeatable combo! The hostel itself is quiet, well-maintained, and located just a short subway ride from West Lake. It’s cozy, clean, and feels like home. If you’re visiting Hangzhou, this place is definitely worth a visit—it’s not just a stay, it’s an experience.

The location is absolutely perfect—right next to the Hangzhou Zoo, just a short walk away. You can easily visit the new pandas, Chunsheng and Xiangguo, but be sure to book in advance. It's also very close to West Lake, with a quick stroll leading you to Prince Bay Park, where the tulips are currently in full bloom—absolutely stunning. The host was incredibly welcoming; they even helped carry my luggage upon check-in and gave me personalized recommendations for exploring the area. This level of hospitality and convenience makes this stay unforgettable. A fantastic value for such an amazing experience—I’ll definitely be back!

Absolutely loved my stay at this charming little gem! As a cat lover, I was instantly charmed by Xiaohei, the friendly black cat who greeted me with purrs and head bumps—so sweet and relaxed. The room design is beautifully minimalist with a wabi-sabi aesthetic, and the view from the window is stunning, especially when cherry blossoms drift gently outside. Breakfast was delicious and well-prepared, with fresh ingredients and a great variety. The host was incredibly warm and welcoming, always ready to help or chat. It’s rare to find such a peaceful, authentic vibe with excellent value for money. Easy access to downtown via subway makes it even more convenient. The location is unbeatable—right next to Fahjing Temple and Fahjing Temple, with Lingyin Temple and Fajixi Temple just a short walk away. The staff, especially the concierge, are warm, attentive, and always ready to help—making the entire experience stress-free and enjoyable. Breakfast was delicious, with fresh fruit and tasty desserts. The room was spotless, well-equipped, and beautifully designed with a calm, modern aesthetic. This was hands down the best booking of our trip—booked early before prices went up, and the value for money was outstanding. Nestled on San Tai Mountain, the hotel offers a peaceful retreat with fresh air and stunning natural surroundings. The nearest bus stop is at Yu Qian Temple, but we actually preferred walking to Wugui Tan to try the rowboat ride—unfortunately, it was canceled due to weather, but we made up for it by taking a scenic water bus from Guo Zhuang Pier to Hua Gang Guan Yu. The views along the way were absolutely beautiful. After exploring Hua Gang Guan Yu, we returned via the Xiao Lian Qing Feng line from Su Di Pier, which dropped us right at Yu Qian Temple Station—perfect for heading back to the hotel. One small downside: limited food delivery options nearby, but overall, the experience was flawless. This place truly delivers comfort, convenience, and charm.

We stayed here the night before a hiking trip to Taiziwan Park with our kids, and it was an absolutely perfect choice. The male owner is super friendly—chubby, charming, and looks surprisingly like a local version of Chinese pop icon Chen Guanxi. Staying here felt like being in a little oasis by the West Lake. The guesthouse is literally right next to Taiziwan Park, so every morning you wake up to lush greenery and fresh air that feels like breathing in nature itself. A quick 5-minute walk gets you to Su Causeway, where early-morning strolls along the lake are almost entirely peaceful—felt like I had the whole West Lake to myself. Nearby is Jingci Temple, and hearing the evening bell ring was oddly calming and grounding. The room was spotless, cozy, and thoughtfully decorated with comfy bedding that made me want to stay in all day. The owner even shared some hidden gem local eateries off the beaten path—authentic flavors, great value, absolutely delicious. This place truly elevated my trip to Hangzhou. If I come back, this will be my first choice. A real gem for anyone wanting to experience the soul of West Lake.

Staying at Ji Hotel Hangzhou Qianjiang New City Fuxing Road was a fantastic experience. The staff went above and beyond—welcoming, attentive, and genuinely helpful. When we arrived, they even offered us hot water, which was such a thoughtful touch. Later, when I accidentally lost my breakfast voucher, the team didn’t hesitate to issue a replacement right away—no hassle at all. That kind of service really stands out. On-site, the hotel sells simple but delicious boxed meals, perfect for a quick bite. Clean rooms, comfy beds, quiet environment, and great location just steps from metro access and local eateries. Everything about this stay felt seamless and well thought out. I’ll definitely be choosing this hotel again on my next business trip to Hangzhou. Highly recommend it!

Location-wise, it's incredibly convenient—just a short walk to a charming local restaurant where a playful American Shorthair cat named Cuihua greets guests with charm. A mere 500 meters further leads straight to Jiuxi Yancun, where we arrived at 8:30 AM to find the trail completely quiet and serene—feeling like we had the entire place to ourselves. Parking was also a big plus: ample spots available, and even EV charging stations, which made our trip stress-free. This hidden gem offers comfort, convenience, and a peaceful escape—all at an unbeatable value. I’ll definitely be back.
