Mansion 1903 Hotel

Staying at this beautifully designed Russian-style hotel was a dream come true. The ambiance is absolutely stunning—perfect for photos, and the spacious bathroom made soaking in a warm bath incredibly relaxing. We happened to be here during Christmas, and the decorations created such a magical atmosphere from the moment we walked in. Breakfast included turkey, and the kids were thrilled with their little snowman gifts. Our room was on the second floor with a small balcony—such a thoughtful touch! The kids could play in the snow outside, then quickly warm up inside when needed. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, and even helped capture some amazing family photos that truly felt like a fairytale. It was such a special experience, especially for the children. I can’t wait to come back—it’s definitely one of the best stays I’ve had in Harbin.

Staying at New Paris Hotel was a delightful experience overall. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of options—everything from fresh pastries and local specialties to international favorites—was both delicious and well-presented. Afternoon tea was equally impressive, with a cozy atmosphere and thoughtfully prepared treats. The room itself was spacious, impeccably clean, and fully equipped with modern amenities; the bed was especially comfortable for a good night’s sleep. Staff were incredibly kind and attentive—always smiling, offering help without being intrusive, and going the extra mile to make guests feel welcome. One small note: I accidentally left a pair of snow boots in the room, and unfortunately, no reminder was sent upon check-out. It would be great if the hotel could implement a more proactive lost items notification system. That said, this minor oversight didn’t take away from the excellent stay. For convenience, location, comfort, and service quality, this hotel offers outstanding value. I’d definitely recommend it and will consider staying here again on my next visit to Harbin.

The location is unbeatable if you're visiting Ice and Snow World; the back entrance leads straight to the venue, so even if you're coming back late after the park closes, it's just a few minutes' walk to the hotel. That convenience alone makes this hotel a top choice. The service is exceptional—responsive, attentive, and always helpful. I had a request for extra towels and it arrived within minutes. The only downside? Traffic congestion during city restrictions made getting around tricky, especially trying to hail a cab for dinner. But every time I struggled, kind local taxi drivers stepped in with warmth and humor—they shared stories, gave great tips, and made the experience feel personal. We brought our kids on our first trip to Harbin, and our very first stop was the Harbin Central Street Sophia Xana Deluxe Hotel — and wow, what a perfect start! The hotel is perfectly positioned right in the middle of Central Street, just north of the main strip. It’s incredibly convenient: walk 100 meters east across the street to Zhaolin Park, or just 50 meters west to the heart of Central Street itself. A short 500–800 meter stroll takes you straight to the iconic St. Sophia Cathedral. From the moment we walked in, the lobby felt warm and welcoming, with fun little touchpoints like a stamp check-in and complimentary afternoon tea. The staff were beyond helpful — we hadn’t planned much in advance, so we asked for local tips, and one of them even added us on WeChat to send over a detailed guide to nearby dining, sightseeing, and family-friendly spots. Breakfast was outstanding — full of protein, fresh fruit, eggs, milk, and all the essentials we needed for our kids. On checkout day, we ended up staying late to take some photos at the cathedral with the kids, and instead of charging extra, they graciously extended our check-out time to 2 PM — no hassle at all. This stay truly made us feel welcomed and taken care of. If you’re visiting Central Street, this is hands-down our top recommendation. We’ve already told several friends back home about it — and honestly, we’d book here again in a heartbeat.

Breakfast was a highlight—authentic Chinese fare with freshly cooked dumplings and noodles, warm and comforting. Though the hotel is older in terms of construction, the room was spotless, well-maintained, and surprisingly quiet thanks to good soundproofing. The underfloor heating kept the room cozy and warm throughout the night, which was a big plus during the cold weather. Clean, comfortable, and great value—definitely planning to return.

What really stood out was the convenience of having dining, accommodation, and entertainment all in one place—room service was quick and offered a great variety of local dishes, so we never had to leave the hotel. Spent a truly memorable Christmas Eve at The North International Youth Hostel in Harbin—what an incredible experience! This hostel isn’t just a place to sleep; it’s a vibrant community with soul. Located just a short walk from Central Street, it’s incredibly convenient for exploring the city’s charm. I fell in love with the soft piano melodies that filled the evenings, creating such a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The nightly gatherings with fellow travelers were lively yet cozy—perfect for making connections with people from all over the world. Even though the beds are compact, they held so much more than just bodies: stories, laughter, and shared dreams. It’s clear this place is designed for connection, not just comfort. If I ever return to Harbin, there’s no doubt I’ll come back here. A gem of a stay—authentic, affordable, and unforgettable.
