The owner was incredibly kind and helpful. We arrived earlier than check-in time, but they allowed us to settle in right away—so convenient! The room itself is on the smaller side but impeccably clean, with a charming Russian architectural style that really adds character to the stay. One quirky detail: the bathroom faucet is extremely tall—despite being 5'6" (around 168 cm), I still had to stretch just to reach the clothesline! That’s some authentic Russian design for you. Inside, the heating system works so well that you forget it’s freezing outside—perfect for winter visits. Location-wise, it couldn’t be better: just steps from Metro Line 2, making trips to the Ice and Snow World only 3 stops away, while Central Street and Red Star Market are within walking distance. There’s no shortage of local eats nearby—great barbecue spots and traditional “pig slaughter” dishes for hungry travelers. Bonus: the key card can be duplicated, which is super convenient for late-night returns. Service is a bit routine—understandable given the high foot traffic in this commercial area—but could use a little more warmth and personal touch. Still, if you’re visiting Harbin for the first time, this hotel is a solid choice. With such a great location and cozy interior, improving service quality would truly match the premium pricing.
