The room is a simple business-style layout with a comfortable queen-sized bed and a clean bathroom—minimalist but very tidy and well-maintained. Prices are understandably higher during peak season, but the value still holds up. The hotel is just a 15-minute walk from Shengyi Hospital Station on Line 2, making public transit access convenient for exploring the city. There’s a wide variety of BBQ restaurants nearby, plus the Wanda Plaza right across the street—perfect for shopping or grabbing a bite. Across from the hotel is a small park where we rented a $10 inflatable sled; it was so much fun sliding around in winter, especially for the kids who were absolutely thrilled. It even made for some really photogenic moments! The only downside is that the heating system can’t be adjusted—so I ended up feeling too warm at night. Turning on the AC helps, but there’s a slight mechanical noise from the unit. A minor issue, but something worth considering for future upgrades. All in all, this is a highly recommended choice if you’re looking for convenience, good location, and family-friendly fun without needing to go far.

Location-wise, it couldn’t be better: just steps from Metro Line 2, making trips to the Ice and Snow World only 3 stops away, while Central Street and Red Star Market are within walking distance. There’s no shortage of local eats nearby—great barbecue spots and traditional “pig slaughter” dishes for hungry travelers. Bonus: the key card can be duplicated, which is super convenient for late-night returns. Service is a bit routine—understandable given the high foot traffic in this commercial area—but could use a little more warmth and personal touch. Staying at this beautifully designed Russian-style hotel was a dream come true. The ambiance is absolutely stunning—perfect for photos, and the spacious bathroom made soaking in a warm bath incredibly relaxing. We happened to be here during Christmas, and the decorations created such a magical atmosphere from the moment we walked in. Breakfast included turkey, and the kids were thrilled with their little snowman gifts. Our room was on the second floor with a small balcony—such a thoughtful touch! The kids could play in the snow outside, then quickly warm up inside when needed. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, and even helped capture some amazing family photos that truly felt like a fairytale. It was such a special experience, especially for the children.
