Staying at Qingqiu Hotel was by far the best part of our trip to Harbin. The location is super convenient—just a short walk from Harbin Railway Station and close to Yiyuan Hospital, making everything easy to access. The room itself was clean and well-designed, with a smart wet/dry separation in the bathroom that made showering so much more comfortable. The showerhead had strong water pressure and consistent temperature—perfect for unwinding after a long day. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the amenities: the shampoo, conditioner, and body wash were excellent, so good that we didn’t even need to use our own. Breakfast was generous and varied—great mix of local and Western options, always fresh and tasty. We stayed two nights and enjoyed complete quiet throughout—no noise from other guests or hallway disturbances, which made for deep, restful sleep. Bonus points for the in-room laundry machine and dryer—super helpful for longer stays. (Though we did notice a few guests accidentally tossing socks or insoles into the washer—small reminder about proper sorting!) Staff were friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. If we ever return to Harbin, this hotel will definitely be our first choice.

Harbin Junyi Hotel (Central Street Sofia Church)

The afternoon tea here is definitely a highlight—my favorite part was the creamy, rich milk tea that tasted surprisingly delicious. The Western-style pastries, yogurt, and desserts were also well-executed and stood out. The room itself is on the smaller side but impeccably clean, with a charming Russian architectural style that really adds character to the stay. One quirky detail: the bathroom faucet is extremely tall—despite being 5'6" (around 168 cm), I still had to stretch just to reach the clothesline! That’s some authentic Russian design for you. Inside, the heating system works so well that you forget it’s freezing outside—perfect for winter visits. Location-wise, it couldn’t be better: just steps from Metro Line 2, making trips to the Ice and Snow World only 3 stops away, while Central Street and Red Star Market are within walking distance. There’s no shortage of local eats nearby—great barbecue spots and traditional “pig slaughter” dishes for hungry travelers. Bonus: the key card can be duplicated, which is super convenient for late-night returns. Service is a bit routine—understandable given the high foot traffic in this commercial area—but could use a little more warmth and personal touch. Still, if you’re visiting Harbin for the first time, this hotel is a solid choice. With such a great location and cozy interior, improving service quality would truly match the premium pricing.

Mansion 1903 Hotel

Staying at this beautifully designed Russian-style hotel was a dream come true. The ambiance is absolutely stunning—perfect for photos, and the spacious bathroom made soaking in a warm bath incredibly relaxing. We happened to be here during Christmas, and the decorations created such a magical atmosphere from the moment we walked in. Breakfast included turkey, and the kids were thrilled with their little snowman gifts. Our room was on the second floor with a small balcony—such a thoughtful touch! The kids could play in the snow outside, then quickly warm up inside when needed. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, and even helped capture some amazing family photos that truly felt like a fairytale. It was such a special experience, especially for the children. I can’t wait to come back—it’s definitely one of the best stays I’ve had in Harbin.
