This stay completely exceeded my expectations. The room was spotlessly clean, with comfortable bedding that made for a restful night's sleep. The staff were friendly and attentive—always smiling and ready to help without being intrusive. Breakfast was fantastic: a wide variety of options including both Western and local favorites, all fresh and well-prepared. What really stood out was the 24-hour coffee station—perfect for late-night cravings or early-morning wake-ups. Even better, they offered late-night snacks after 10 PM, which came in super handy during my extended travel schedule. Located right on West Nanjing Road, it’s incredibly convenient for exploring Shanghai’s shopping and cultural hotspots, yet the hotel itself remained peaceful and quiet, making it a true oasis in the city. The facilities are in excellent condition, and cleanliness is top-notch throughout. This is one of the best value stays I’ve had in Shanghai—I’ll definitely be back and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting.

My stay at UrCove by HYATT Shanghai Jing'an was absolutely fantastic! As a member, the perks like late checkout were incredibly convenient and added great value to my experience. The location is unbeatable—just steps away from the metro, with countless dining options and shopping spots within walking distance. The room was spotless, beautifully decorated, and the bedding was so comfortable I slept like a baby. I was pleasantly surprised by the excellent soundproofing—no noise from the hallway or street at all. Special mention goes to the front desk staff, Ah Lin, who went above and beyond with his warm, attentive service. He made me feel genuinely welcomed. I’ll definitely be back next time I visit Shanghai, and I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a stylish, well-located, and thoughtfully run stay.

Metropark Jichen Hotel Shanghai

We had a wonderful weekend trip to Shanghai with our family of three, mainly visiting the Bund and the Oriental Pearl Tower with our kids. We casually searched for a hotel and ended up staying at this one—what a pleasant surprise! The hotel is very close to Line 14, making it super easy to reach by metro, and the building itself is spacious and well-designed. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. My standard room came with an extra set of toiletries—such a thoughtful touch! I especially want to commend a young staff member named Mr. Sun; his professionalism and warm attitude made our stay even better. Inside, the hotel feels clean, airy, and comfortable, with plenty of room to move around—perfect for families. The value for money is outstanding. If we come back to Shanghai, this will definitely be our first choice again.

Hotel Equatorial Shanghai

The location couldn’t be better—just a short walk from Huashan Hospital, Jing’an shopping district, and Nanjing West Road. Public transit access is super convenient, whether by metro or bus. The front desk staff, Summer and Priscina, were incredibly warm and welcoming—they even upgraded us to a business executive king room at no extra cost! The service here feels timeless, with that classic old-money elegance. Breakfast was abundant and delicious, offering a great start to the day. For business travelers, this is an ideal choice with outstanding value. Hotel Equatorial Shanghai is one of Shanghai’s original five-star hotels, dating back to the early days of reform and opening-up in the 1990s. It’s undergoing a major renovation this year, so we’re excited to see how refreshed it will look. I’ll definitely be booking again once the upgrades are complete.

Paramount Gallery Hotel

I've stayed at Paramount Gallery Hotel multiple times now, and each visit feels like coming home. The front desk staff, especially Yeh and Dong, are incredibly attentive—they always remember my name, which makes such a difference. Huang also goes above and beyond, helping with luggage transfer and arranging transportation seamlessly. The room is immaculate, beautifully designed, and super comfortable—perfect for both business trips and leisure travel. It's clear the team truly cares about guest experience. Yan An Hotel

Staying at Yan An Hotel in Shanghai was an excellent experience from start to finish. The location is unbeatable—just a 3-minute walk to the nearest metro station, making it super convenient to explore the city. The room was clean and well-maintained, even though some fixtures showed their age; however, everything was in good working order and kept spotless. I was a bit concerned about the hot water during winter, but I couldn’t have been more wrong—the shower delivered strong, consistent hot water, and I enjoyed a long, relaxing soak that truly eased my travel fatigue. Special shoutout to Miao Tong at reception—her friendly attitude and proactive assistance made a big difference. She went above and beyond to help with my requests. Overall, this hotel offers great value, comfort, and service. I’ll definitely be returning on my next trip to Shanghai.

We originally booked a double bed room, but upon seeing we were traveling together, the front desk staff kindly upgraded us to a twin room—so considerate and genuinely appreciated! What stood out most was the location—right next to the train station, making travel super convenient. Right downstairs, there are plenty of dining options, including a convenience store and even a KFC, so you don’t have to go far for meals. The staff were attentive and proactive—they regularly cleaned, tidied up the room, and replaced towels without being asked. It’s clear they care about guest comfort. For a great mix of location, cleanliness, and service, this hotel is a fantastic choice if you’re looking for a stress-free, comfortable stay in Shanghai.
