Staying at this beautifully designed Russian-style hotel was a dream come true. The ambiance is absolutely stunning—perfect for photos, and the spacious bathroom made soaking in a warm bath incredibly relaxing. We happened to be here during Christmas, and the decorations created such a magical atmosphere from the moment we walked in. Breakfast included turkey, and the kids were thrilled with their little snowman gifts. Our room was on the second floor with a small balcony—such a thoughtful touch! The kids could play in the snow outside, then quickly warm up inside when needed. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, and even helped capture some amazing family photos that truly felt like a fairytale. It was such a special experience, especially for the children. We originally booked Friendship Palace for our trip to Harbin during the May Day holiday, but due to the strong smell from recent renovations, we had to switch last minute—luckily, only one room was left at Sun Island Hotel. What a lucky coincidence! The hotel is actually located within a large, serene park, offering a peaceful and refreshing atmosphere. The rooms are quiet, with clean air and excellent sound insulation—perfect for a good night’s sleep. Best of all, it's just a short walk to Sun Island Scenic Area and Polar Park, so we didn’t need to rely on transportation. Everything was convenient, well-maintained, and beautifully situated. Our stay exceeded expectations—this place truly delivers comfort, location, and value. I’d definitely come back.
