Super Hotel Shinjuku Kabukicho

Staying at Super Hotel Shinjuku Kabukicho was an absolute delight. Located right in the heart of Tokyo, it's incredibly convenient for exploring everything the city has to offer—just a short walk from shopping districts, restaurants, and nightlife. The staff were friendly and helpful, clearly explaining all room features with great attention to detail. While the rooms are compact, they’re well-equipped and surprisingly comfortable, making for a restful night’s sleep. What really stands out is the gender-separated onsen—perfect after a long day of sightseeing or shopping. Soaking in the hot spring helped ease tired muscles and made falling asleep effortless. Plus, breakfast is complimentary and offers a nice variety of options. It’s a small hotel, but every need is covered. For a great location, excellent service, and a relaxing vibe, this place is unbeatable. I’d definitely stay here again.

Akasaka Urban Hotel

Staying at Akasaka Urban Hotel was an absolute delight! The location is perfect—just a short walk from the subway, making it super convenient to explore Tokyo’s main areas. The room is compact but ideal for solo travelers; it’s clean, cozy, and thoughtfully designed. What really stood out? A little duck plushie waiting on the table upon arrival—it was such a sweet surprise and added a touch of warmth to the stay. The staff went above and beyond too; when I stepped out in the rain without an umbrella, they kindly handed me one with a smile. Small gestures like this make all the difference. Every detail feels intentional, from the quiet ambiance to the thoughtful touches. It’s not just a place to sleep—it feels like a home away from home. I’d highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Tokyo, especially those who value comfort, cleanliness, and genuine hospitality.

Park Hyatt Tokyo

Staying at Park Hyatt Tokyo felt like being wrapped in pure luxury from the moment I stepped in. The service is truly next-level—thoughtful, discreet, and flawless. I spent hours in my room sipping tea or wine while gazing at the view of Mount Fuji or the glittering skyline of Tokyo at night. It’s breathtaking—truly unbeatable. The room was impeccably cleaned twice daily, yet I never saw the housekeeping staff, which speaks volumes about how seamless their work is. The library is a hidden gem—calm, elegant, and perfect for unwinding. Staff were incredibly helpful, especially one team member named Xiaoqi Sun who went above and beyond to help me recover a lost piece of jewelry. So grateful! Several restaurant staff spoke fluent Chinese, making communication smooth and stress-free. The club lounge staff were warm and attentive too. My only note: there’s a persistent gasoline smell near the second-floor entrance, where staff often stand guard. It’s not just unpleasant—it’s concerning for their well-being. I sincerely hope this gets addressed during the upcoming renovation. Otherwise, this hotel is absolutely perfect.

The staff went above and beyond—when we requested connecting rooms for our family, they handled it seamlessly, and even provided extra bottled water and children’s pillows without hesitation. The location is unbeatable: the hotel connects directly to underground walkways leading to Ebisu Garden Place and the subway station. From here, getting to Shibuya, Shinjuku, Ginza, or simply strolling around the neighborhood is incredibly easy. Whether you're exploring the city or just relaxing nearby, everything feels within reach. It's clear this hotel values guest comfort and convenience. I’ll definitely be choosing The Westin Tokyo again on my next trip to Tokyo.

Keio Plaza Hotel Tokyo

Staying at Keio Plaza Hotel Tokyo was an absolute delight from start to finish. The location is unbeatable—right next to the subway station, with a direct entrance from the basement restaurant level. It’s just a 10-minute walk to Shinjuku’s heart, making exploring the city effortless. The room was much larger than average for a Japanese hotel, clean, well-maintained, and stocked with high-quality toiletries—so refreshing. Breakfast was a highlight: a wide variety of options, from traditional Japanese dishes to Western favorites, all fresh and delicious. One of the best parts? The view from the south wing faces Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building. During the day, you can spot Mount Fuji on clear days; at night, the building’s stunning light show lights up the skyline. Just a short stroll away is the 52nd-floor observation deck—completely free and offering breathtaking panoramic views of Tokyo’s glittering cityscape. Cerulean Tower Tokyu Hotel, A Pan Pacific Partner Hotel

Staying at Cerulean Tower Tokyu Hotel was an absolute highlight of my Tokyo trip. Just a 5-minute walk from Shibuya Station’s West Exit, the hotel is effortlessly accessible—cross the pedestrian bridge over National Route 246 and you’re there. Nestled in the upper floors of the sleek Cerulean Tower, the building has a quiet elegance that stands out amid the bustling city. It feels like a calm sanctuary, where sophistication meets serenity. Check-in was smooth and welcoming—the staff spoke fluent English and Japanese with genuine warmth and professionalism. I was assigned a room on the 33rd floor, and stepping inside felt like being welcomed into a private rooftop view of Tokyo. The skyline unfolded before me, with Shibuya’s vibrant streets stretching below. The room itself was minimalist yet refined—warm wood flooring, soft ambient lighting, and a calming atmosphere that made every moment feel luxurious. The attention to detail is impressive: high-quality toiletries, traditional Japanese yukata, and even tea sets included. Dining options are diverse and excellent—from French and Chinese cuisine to authentic sushi and teppanyaki. But what truly sets this hotel apart is the on-site Noh theater, where traditional Noh and Kyogen performances are regularly held. Experiencing one live performance was unforgettable—deeply cultural and beautifully presented. Facilities are top-notch: a well-equipped fitness center, indoor pool, spa services, and full accessibility features for guests with special needs. Whether you're traveling solo, with family, or seeking a peaceful retreat in the heart of Tokyo, this hotel delivers on every front. Comfortable, convenient, and rich in character—this place isn’t just a stay, it’s an experience.

The Capitol Hotel Tokyu

The Capitol Hotel Tokyu stands out as one of the most value-for-money luxury hotels I've stayed at in Tokyo. Located right in the heart of the government district, it offers excellent security and unbeatable convenience. The hotel is directly connected to Roppongi Station (a quiet, rarely crowded station), making commuting smooth and stress-free. For shopping, just hop on the Ginza Line to Sanyo-mae Station—just a short walk from the Sanyo Department Store's Nihonbashi branch, where tax refunds are quick and hassle-free. A taxi to Isetan Shinjuku costs around ¥2,500, which is reasonable. There’s also a convenience store in the underground passage linking to the station—but note it’s not open 24 hours. Breakfast is a highlight: the Japanese-style meal is prepared by the hotel’s in-house restaurant, Mizuran, and delivers top-quality flavors that leave you truly satisfied. Just remember to order by 10:00 AM. Overall, this hotel is ideal for business travelers, shoppers, or those exploring nearby attractions. With great dining options and the ability to reserve private rooms for client dinners or gatherings, it’s a perfect blend of comfort, location, and service. Truly exceptional.
