It’s one of those stays you immediately want to recommend to friends planning a visit to Hangzhou. This is my third stay at DOMO Villa, and I’ve been completely in love since the first visit. This time I stayed on the second floor—still with that perfect view of my favorite tree right outside the window. The service was as excellent as always: they reached out beforehand to help with vehicle access permits, and once checked in, the host sent over a detailed guide to nearby dining, shopping, and sightseeing spots. Any questions or requests were answered promptly and handled with care. The bed was incredibly comfortable—I slept like a baby. Plus, being just a short walk from Siyanjing and Manjuelong makes exploring so convenient. The peaceful mountain setting combined with thoughtful hospitality makes this place truly special. Definitely coming back again.

It's also incredibly convenient for exploring attractions: just a short walk to Taiziwan Park, and other key sites are easily reachable by bus or taxi. With its unbeatable location, serene atmosphere, and thoughtful touches throughout, this is definitely a place I’d return to again and again.

We've visited Hangzhou many times before, but this trip was different—we decided to break away from the usual spots and try something quieter in Shuangfeng. That’s how we found Cha Hui Liubao Tea B&B, and honestly, it turned out to be one of our most memorable stays. The room is simple—no TV, just cozy tatami mats for two adults and two kids—and surprisingly, that was part of the charm. Without screens, the kids spent more time exploring nature, playing outdoors, and soaking in the peaceful vibe. The location is perfect: right next to the Tea Museum, so our children learned all about tea varieties while visiting daily. We also hiked Qingshan Mountain and even walked a stretch of forest trail—such a refreshing change from city life. The garden is beautifully kept, and despite the owner being busy with business, the staff are warm and welcoming. Turns out this is part of a major tea export company with a history spanning decades—the former headquarters used to be a Vietnamese restaurant, and they even manage the main tea plantation, including the famous patch where Kim Jong-il once picked tea leaves. Breakfast was a highlight—our hostess made a special noodle dish for our daughter who loves noodles, showing real care. And oh, the timing couldn’t have been better—just as the osmanthus blossoms were in full bloom. We watched locals harvest the flowers, collected some to make art projects for her kindergarten class. It felt magical. This place isn’t crowded or widely known, which made it feel like uncovering a hidden gem of Hangzhou.
