Located just steps away from Sanya Commodity Street, the neighborhood is vibrant and convenient for dining, shopping, and exploring nearby attractions like the timeless Sanya Ancient Drama Park. The staff went above and beyond—warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, making us feel at home. One of the highlights was the included luxury yacht tour; the boat was elegant, comfortable, and the experience unforgettable. Plus, we received an 8.8 discount on the ancient drama park tickets—great value! I’d definitely come back again. This place truly delivers on comfort, convenience, and memorable moments.

Stayed here for 10 days and couldn’t be happier! The apartment-style rooms are incredibly convenient—fully equipped kitchen, spacious layout, and a design I really love. Cleanliness was generally good—rooms were tidy—but I noticed the housekeeping staff seemed stretched thin, almost like only one person was handling all the rooms, leading to some waiting time. Service was excellent though—always responsive. When I accidentally burned my hand, they quickly brought over burn ointment. Even when I ordered a large delivery, the friendly, slightly chubby porter helped carry everything up without hesitation. Overall, this place offers great value and a homey vibe. Definitely coming back.

After staying two nights in Haikou Bay, a friend recommended we switch to Dadonghai for New Year’s Eve. After doing a quick online search, I found that Pearl River Garden Hotel kept coming up as a top pick—so we decided to give it a try. Before check-in, the lovely concierge Jasmine reached out to us personally. At the time, only two rooms were available, so she arranged us on different floors. She escorted us straight to our room after check-in and even left fresh fruit and a mini bar—such thoughtful touches! The hotel is literally steps from the beach, making it incredibly convenient, though being in the city center means rooms aren’t huge. That said, the location more than makes up for it. On New Year’s Eve, the ground floor was packed with live music and dancing—super lively! But if you’re traveling with kids, I’d suggest avoiding sea-view rooms since it can get noisy. Rooms facing the opposite side are much quieter. Jasmine stayed on top of things throughout our stay—she mentioned she’d contact the manager to speak with nearby beach vendors if the noise became an issue, which showed how genuinely attentive she was. Breakfast was outstanding, especially the Luoma Hainan rice noodles—everyone in our group agreed it was delicious. We made a beeline for that spot every morning. On arrival day, there was a free sugar cane candy event in the lobby, and Jasmine even sent us photos taken by the in-house photographer. One highlight we absolutely couldn’t miss was the hotel’s “Papai Box” photo experience. We booked in advance, and the photographer at the 9th-floor infinity pool was fantastic. He didn’t make us pose stiffly—he guided the kids naturally, capturing genuine moments and emotions. As someone who hates formal photos, this was a game-changer. My kids looked relaxed and happy, not forced at all. I highly recommend booking this service upon arrival. Once scheduled, the photographer contacts you directly with details and reminders. My original request for a sea-view room was upgraded—likely due to my Marriott Bonvoy Platinum status—and I appreciated the seamless communication throughout my stay. No need to call; everything was handled instantly through WeChat, making it incredibly convenient. While the hotel isn’t brand new, it maintains the high standards expected from a JW Marriott property. The pool is spacious and beautifully designed, with complimentary refreshments available during daytime lounging. Breakfast was outstanding—offering a wide variety of dishes and staying open until 11 AM. I highly recommend trying the Hòu’ān rice noodles—they were delicious and authentic. As a resort-style getaway, the views and overall experience truly shine. It’s hard to put into words just how relaxing and immersive it felt, but trust me, pictures don’t do it justice. I’ve stayed at many hotels in Sanya, but InterContinental Sanya Resort at Half Moon Bay truly blew me away—this is one I’d absolutely recommend to everyone. The public areas are beautifully designed like a tropical garden, and every corner feels like a postcard-worthy scene. My upgraded high-floor ocean view room was beyond expectations—the moment I opened the window, endless blue sea stretched out before me. Sitting on the balcony with sea breeze in my hair and watching the sunset was pure bliss. Even better, they upgraded me upon booking and included breakfast—then went above and beyond when they found out my mom and aunt had just returned from a cruise to Xisha Islands. They surprised us with two extra breakfasts, which were delicious and thoughtful. The staff were incredible—from the guest relations manager Dora, who proactively checked in about my room type and arrival details, to the front desk team who made me feel genuinely valued. Their warmth and attention to detail made the whole experience feel personal and special. Every aspect of this resort, from the stunning views to the exceptional service, exceeded my expectations.
